Santos vs Estudiantes LP Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

This Copa Libertadores game brings two of the biggest teams in Brazil and Argentina together with the Argentinians making a tricky trip down to Brazil after falling to a 1-0 loss at home to their host. A win for Santos would help them put one foot in the next round. They lost their first game of the competition to Real Garcilaso, however, they have recovered well to record wins against Estudiantes and Nacional to move to the top of group 6. Santos fell to a defeat at Bahia in their last league games, however, they won their last home game 2-0 against Ceara and that should keep their confidence high ahead of this match. They also tend to be strong in this competition with 5 wins from their last 6 home games. Estudiantes come into this game very low on confidence as they have been struggling both locally and in the continent. They lost their last game against Belgrano, although they made whole scale changes, it seems not to matter who play these days, they have just found it incredibly had to get the results. They have lost 3 of their last 4 games, scoring just once in the process. They are currently second on the table with four points, yet it seems as though they would still be eliminated from the group stage just like last season.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

Bayern Munich’s quarterfinal match with Sevilla was pretty lowkey with the return leg in Bavaria ending in a goalless draw. The Germans went through thanks to a 2-1 win in Seville in the first leg. This semifinal match promises to be more action-packed with Los Blancos actively chasing their 3rd consecutive European crown and the Germans looking for revenge after losing to them for much of their past few meetings. Bayern have gone on to win all of their last few matches after the stalemate against Sevilla. They have defeated Borussia Monchengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen, and Hannover 96, scoring 14 goals in the process, they would now look to take that form a get a good first leg advantage in this game. Real Madrid’s quarterfinal was nothing close to low-profile. Los Blancos were leading 3-0 from the first leg in Turin, however, they found themselves 3-0 down with more than an hour played at the Bernabeu in the return leg. It took a controversial penalty awarded by Englishman Michael Oliver and converted by none other than Christiano Ronaldo for the European champions to reach this semifinal. Ronaldo has now netted 120 Champions League goals, 20 more than Lionel Messi. He has scored 12 goals in 10 Champions League games this season, netting in all of their matches in the competition this season. Los Blancos have won five and lost just one of their last six meetings with Bayern Munich.

Liverpool vs AS Roma Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

Liverpool have been written off at least twice in this season’s Champions League yet they have made it to the Semifinals and face another team that was considered not good enough for this stage. The Reds drew their first two Champions League group games to Sevilla and Spartak Moscow yet they finished the group stage as the second highest scorers in the competition with 23 goals, they have scored many more goals now. In the quarterfinals against arguably the best team in England at the moment, Liverpool were yet again considered the underdogs, but they roared to a 5-1 aggregate victory over Pep Guardiola’s men and their fans would now be dreaming of another final in Kiev, Ukraine. Jurgen Klopp rested most of his star men at the weekend as they threw away a two goals lead to draw 2-2 against West Brom, Mohamed Salah was started and the Egyptian scored his 31st Premier League goal of the campaign, he has also netted 8 times in 10 Champions League games and he would be one of the stars of this game. AS Roma are not to be underrated also. The Romans defeated Barcelona 3-0 in the last round to progress 4-4 on aggregate having trailed 4-1 from the first leg, they drew their next game against Lazio before earning wins against SPAL and Genoa ahead of this match. They have impressively scored in all but one of their Champions League away games this season and they would be looking to get another important away goal here also.

Bristol Rovers vs Wigan Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

Wigan’s promotion back to the Championship was inevitably confirmed the last time out after they brushed aside Fleetwood Town 4-0. The Latics looked certain to return to England’s second tier from their start of the season and they would now look to end the season on a high note starting with another win at struggling Bristol Rovers. Bristol Rovers have had a tough end to the season. They lost their last league game 2-0 at Rotherham and that means they have now failed to win any of their last four games. They have an enviable record at home though, but they would find it hard to shut out a Wigan side that is gunning for the title. Wigan were beaten 2-1 at Portsmouth three weeks ago, that could have seen any team surrender their title challenge and hit rock bottom, but Paul Cook’s men have shown their class by moving on well from that loss to win 4 of their last five league games and put themselves firmly in the running for the league title, also netting an impressive 14 goals in those matches. Bristol have continued to struggle in defence and they have kept just two clean sheets at home in the whole of this season and their inability to keep things tight at the back might be their biggest undoing here again.

Liverpool preparing 4 years deal for Real Madrid youngster who was best European youngster last year

Liverpool have begun the search for new stars that would help them win the Premier League next season, and their search for new talents have taken them Madrid, Spain. The Reds are set for a major overhaul this summer after losing Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window. With Emre Can also heading through the exit door on a free transfer, the Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp knows that Midfield is one area he would need to strengthen in the next transfer window. According to reports in the Italian media, Liverpool have identified out-of-favour Real Madrid youngster, Dani Cabellos as an ideal addition to their team. The 21 years old sign from Real Betis last summer after a stunning set of performances in the European Under 21 Championship. He was, however, not signed on the recommendation of Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane and he has since failed to force his way into the French man’s thinking. Cabellos is believed to have lost all hope of impressing Zidane and he now wants a move away from the Spanish capital. Real Madrid paid £15 million for his signature last summer, but Los Blancos would demand at least £35 million from his next employers. That won’t be too much money for Liverpool who are prepared to spend big next summer. Per reports, the Reds have already prepared a four years lucrative deal for the midfielder and they could announce his capture as soon as the transfer window reopens.

Real Madrid want Eden Hazard, but they would have to sell this star man first

After such a poor season with Chelsea with the Blues on the verge of not qualifying for the Champions League next season, Eden Hazard would be desperate to make his long-awaited dream move to Real Madrid at the end of this season. The La Liga and Champions League holders also want to bring the Belgian to the Bernabeu with Zinedine Zidane a known admirer, however, Los Merengues would have to sell Gareth Bale first. Left to Zidane alone, the Welsh winger would have been sold since last summer, but Bale is a favourite of club president, Florentino Perez and Zidane does not yet have enough credit to veto transfer decisions. According to Sun Sport, Bale also has no desire to walk away from his lucrative deal that runs until the summer of 2022 with Real Madrid even though he does not have the trust of his manager at the moment. Bale’s relationship with the French gaffer is said to have deteriorated so much that he could struggle to get near the first team next season if he does not leave the Spanish giants. Hazard has stalled on signing an improved deal at Stamford Bridge and that has been seen as an indication he is waiting for Madrid to come calling.

Athletic Bilbao vs Levante Match Preview, Football Prediction and Betting Tips

Athletic Bilbao came agonizingly close to securing a famous win at the Bernabeu in their last league game after taking a 1-0 lead late into the game against Real Madrid, but predictably, Christiano Ronaldo ruined their party to see the game end 1-1. That result is still a credible one considering how poor a season the Basque outfit have had. Bilbao are currently 13th on the league table, and next season they would have to focus solely on domestic competitions, but they would need to spend big especially on their attack if they want to return to Europe after next season. Levante come into this game fresh from helping to relegate Malaga following a late 1-0 win which helped their own survival bid. That win gave them a 7 points cushion on 18th placed Depotivo, but they would want to win here as their run-in looks relatively tricky. Bilbao have only lost 19% of their home matches this season, with two of those three losses coming against the teams inside the La Liga top two. They were on a run of ten home games without a defeat before they slipped against Deportivo, that would be seen as just a glitch and they would look to get the better of Levante in this match.

Orlando City vs San Jose Earthquakes Match Preview, Match Prediction and Betting Tips

Orlando City defeated the Philadephia Union in their last league game, a win that makes it three victories on the bounce for the Lions and a major upturn in form having previously gone 3 games winless. The Lions are now 6th on the Eastern Conference league table and they would be looking to continue their good run of form here. Orlando City were second from bottom in the MLS table last season and fresh fears were raised when they failed to beat DC United, the only team they finished ahead of last season in their opening game of the season, losing their next two games  against Minnesota United and New York City didn’t help to calm nerves either, but their last three wins have changed moods among fans and their players. They were 14 goals scored in their last three wins against New York RB (4-3), Portland Timbers (3-2), and Philadephia Union (2-0). Last season Orlando City’s first clean sheet of the season also came against the Philadephia Union, what a coincidence that is. Unlike their host, San Jose Earthquakes started the season brightly before fading away into a run of bad form. The Earthquakes won their first game of the season 3-2 with Dutch attacker, Danny Hoesen scoring twice against Minnesota United to give them their only win of the season so far. They have lost out to Sporting Kansas City (3-4), New York City (1-2), before picking up two draws against Philadephia Union (1-1) and Houston Dynamos (2-2). The Earthquakes have been involved in interesting clashes this season with four of their five league games this season seeing over 2.5 goals scored and both teams scoring in 100% of those matches. The Earthquakes have scored in all of their matches this season while conceding in all also. Conversely, Orlando City have scored in all but one of their six league games this season while their defence have also kept out their opponents in just one game this season.

Juventus vs Napoli Match Preview, Match Prediction and Betting Tips

This is arguably the biggest game of the season in the Italian top flight as challengers, Napoli head to the Turin Stadium to play current leaders and defending champions Juventus in a game that should confirm who could win the Serie A this season. A Juventus win here would set Max Allegri and his players up for a seventh straight Scudetto title while losing here would throw the title race open again with just 5 games left to play. Juventus suffered a minor upset in midweek when they drew 1-1 at Crotone, that result cut the gap between them and their visitors to just 4 points and they would be looking to take it back to seven in this game. The defending champions have not lost a home game in the league since 2015 and that makes it incredibly difficult for Napoli to get the win here. Napoli would also head into this game with some confidence as they have not lost an away league game in the last 18 months, winning 12 and drawing 4 of those matches and they would surely be up for the fight here too. Napoli have conceded just once on their last five visits to teams inside the top four, keeping a clean sheet in more than  60% of their away games this season. They are also used to seeing low scoring games on their trips with most of their away games ending in under 2.5 goals. Juve on their own have conceded only five goals at home this season, with Milan the only team to score at the Turin Stadium in their last 9 home league games.
