Everton set to swoop on forgotten Arsenal man

Everton manager, Sam Allardyce is prepared to give Arsenal’s Theo Walcott a fresh start with a move next month. The England attacker has been reduced to a bit-part role at the Emirates this season and he has not started a single Premier League game so far. He captained the Gunners’ side in their Carabao Cup win over West Ham on Wednesday, but with an eye for next summer’s world Cup in Russia he wants more involvement in first team duties. Arsene Wenger is reluctant to allow the former Southampton man leave the Emirates, but he knows he would be powerless to stop him if he does decide to move. Sam Allardyce is looking to add to his team and he would be supported in the transfer market next month. The Former England manager has made a solid start to life as the Toffees manager winning four and drawing one of his five games so far. The Toffees are also interested in signing Steven Nzonzi of Sevilla. The French midfielder has fallen out with the Spanish club’s manager since he left their 3-3 draw with Liverpool before the final whistle. Everton face competition from Arsenal and West Ham for the midfielder’s signature.

Newcastle Eye audacious move for Chelsea defender

Newcastle United’s bid to avoid relegation this season has seen them being linked with some audacious transfers. This time, they have been linked with a move for Chelsea defender, David Luiz. Luiz has fallen down the perking order in Antonio Conte’s team following his performance in Chelsea’s Champions League loss to AS Roma at the end of October. Since that month, the Brazilian has not been considered for selection, with Academy graduate Andreas Christensen favoured ahead of him at the moment. Luiz is currently out with an injury and hopes to resume full training next month, however, he may find his path to the first team blocked. Rafael Benitez is desperate for quality addition to his team as he looks to guide them to Premier League safety at the end of this season, and wants to add David Luiz to his line up. Benitez is poised to make a loan offer for Luiz while the Blues consider his future. The Spaniard hopes that the prospect of missing the world cup if he does not feature for the Blues would see Luiz decide to join them and help save them from relegation. Barcelona are prepared to splash £132 million on signing Philippe Coutinho next month. Coutinho on his part, submitted a written transfer request to make the deal go through, but the Reds remain adamant that he would not be sold. According to Sport via Daily Mail, the Blaguranas are prepared to bid for Coutinho again next month, as they seek to avoid a bidding war next summer. They know that they would need to at least match the £132 million the signed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund if they want to get Liverpool to sell, and that is what they are prepared to do. Per the reports, the Spanish giants have met with Coutinho and his agent to agree personal terms, and they now want to table a bid for his signature. Arsenal turn to Bundesliga for defensive reinforcement

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking at signing top emerging Bundesliga defender Abdou Diallo from Mainz 04. The 21 years old joined the German league strugglers last summer, but he has impressed so greatly that several European sides are looking to sign him next month. However, Arsenal appear in pole position with Wenger’s reputation for helping young French talents prosper an attracting proposition. The Gunners have a thin defence, with Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny the only top defender currently at the Emirates. Rob Holding and Calum Chambers have failed to make an impression on Arsene Wenger this season, with both of them sharing just 5 premier League starts this season. This is not the first time that Arsene Wenger would be looking to the German market to sign players. He has signed Sead Kolasinac and Granit Xhaka over the past few seasons, and he seems to have trust in the quality of the league. Diallo made a few appearances for AS Monaco last season, and reportedly attracted the attention of the Gunners’ scouts then, but he needed to play more games and prove himself, which is what he is currently enjoying in Germany.

Manchester City set to offer stunning longterm deal to star man

Manchester City are not ready to lose any of the players that has helped them storm to the top of the Premier League this season, as they look set to offer Kevin de Bruyne a new long term contract. The Belgian midfielder has been their most outstanding player this season, helping their cause with 6 goals and 8 assists all before the new year, and the league leaders want to reward his form. According to Daily Mail Sport, the Cityzens are set to offer the De Bruyne a new six years deal worth above £200,000 per week. This would be almost double his current £115,000 per week deal which still has at least four years to run. Manchester City do not see any problems arising during negotiations as the Belgian is obviously settled in Cheshire with his family and would be willing to continue contributing to their long term project. This news comes after reports that they are set to make Pep Guardiola the highest paid manager in the world in a deal that could see him remain at the Etihad for an additional 8 years. The Cityzens also plan to offer improved terms to Gabriel Jesus, and remain hopeful that Fernandinho would sign a contract extension with them.

Arsenal set to swoop for Chelsea star defender in a £25 million deal

Arsenal are looking to make another surprising move for a Chelsea player next month. The Gunners were able to sign Petr Cech in the summer of 2015 as Blues owner Roman Abramovich allowed  the Czech Republic to join a direct rival as a reward for his services to them. However, that transfer seems to have given the Gunners a rare confidence that they can sign any player from their rival, and they are now targeting David Luiz. The defender has been out of action for the Blues since November. He also had a very publicized falling out with Blues manager, Antonio Conte for his display in their 3-0 loss to AS Roma. Although Conte has rejected suggestions, that the Brazilian is out of the team because of the fall out rather than an injury, it is hard to see him getting back into the team given the form of Andreas Christensen. And Arsenal want to sign him with the promise of regular football. Sun Sport is reporting that the Gunners are set to tempt the Blues with a £25 million bid for the 30 years old. Luiz is expected to be out until the new year because of a mystery injury, but if he does recover on time next month and cannot force his way back into the Blues first team, Arsenal would swoop.

Chelsea could land summer target in cut price deal next month

Chelsea have been handed a major boost in their quest to land Juventus left back Alex Sandro. The Brazilian has been on the radar of the Premier League champions since last summer, and a deal worth £70 million was close but ultimately failed to materialise. However, the Blues have maintained their interest in the defender and they might finally get their man. According to Daily Star, Sandro has been struggling with a tactical change effected by Max Alegri this season, and Juventus are already planning a swoop for his replacement. Per the source AS Roma’s Emerson Palmieri has caught the attention of the Old Ladies and they are ready to sign him as Sandro’s replacement. Sandro’s form this season has been well short of his performance last season that saw the Old Ladies win the Serie A and reached the Champions League final, and that has seen his value drop significantly. Antonio is reportedly still interested in Sandro however, he does not think the Brazilian is still worth the £70 million he could have been signed for last summer. Juventus have reportedly also relaxed their stance on his transfer and would be willing to sanction his transfer for £50 million.

Manchester City prepare to make Pep Guardiola the highest paid manager in the world

Manchester City would sit down with Pep Guardiola at the end of this season to extend the Spaniard’s deal. The new deal would reportedly be worth £5 million more than his current £15 million per season. Guardiola still has about 18 months to run on his current contract at the Etihad, and he looks willing to stay in the Premier League longer than he first thought. The Catalan declined  the offer of a new deal at Barcelona after four trophy-laden years, citing tiredness, he went on to managed Bayern Munich for a further three years in Germany. However, he also decided against renewing his deal with the German giants despite failing to win the Champions League in the three seasons he managed there. He joined Manchester City last season, but could not win the Premier League and doubted if his methods would bring him success in the most popular league in the world. This season however, his Manchester City team has found their mojo and are currently on a 16 games unbeaten run, which has delighted him. The City board are convinced he would sign an extension with them and are prepared to offer him £20 million a season to continue his good work for them.

Red Devils want Real Madrid star for £27 million

Manchester United have identified Real Madrid fringe midfielder Mateo Kovacic as the perfect midfielder to cover for Paul Pogba’s absence, and are willing to spend £27 million for his signature. The Red Devils have had to play without Pogba in so many games this season due to injuries and suspension, this has prompted them dramatically change their systems most times. However, Kovacic is a similar player to Pogba as he has the technique to retain the ball and drive his team forward with pace. This ability has attracted Jose Mourinho to the Croatian midfielder and he is willing to guarantee him first team action ahead  of Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini. With the transfer window just a few days away, the Red Devils would be willing to listen to offers for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who has been missing in action for them for a long time now, and funds realised from his transfer would be reinvested straight away in a deal for Kovacic. Kovacic has failed to nail a starting spot at Real Madrid since he joined the European champions in the summer of 2015, always being used as a late substitute or in games with weaker oppositions. He is reportedly willing to consider a move to the Premier League and if he can be guaranteed minutes at Manchester United, he would not decline an offer from them.

Liverpool star told he can leave next month

With the January transfer window fast approaching and several players having their eyes on next summer’s world cup in Russia, there could be a mass exodus of player from club sides next month. It appears Liverpool attacker Daniel Sturridge would be one of those stars that would be free to leave. The injury-prone attacker has fallen down the perking order at Anfield, with former Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke now even more preferred to him. Sturridge has made only 5 starts for Liverpool this season, returning with 3 goals, but he knows he cannot convince Gareth Southgate to offer him a place in his world cup team next year if he doesn’t play and score more. According to The Sun, the Reds are looking to get his £125,000 per week wages off their books and would allow him leave abroad even on a temporary basis. Sturridge was one of the first name on former manager Brendan Rodgers’ team sheet, but despite Jurgen Klopp claiming the attacker is the fittest he has been this season, the German still prefers to use Roberto Firmino as his target man. The Reds prepare to play Bournemouth this Sunday and Sturridge is a major doubt after appearing to injure his hamstring in training.
