Arsenal move ahead of rivals in the race to sign Bundesliga star

Arsenal have moved ahead of rivals Manchester United and Chelsea in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen star, Leon Bailey. The Jamaican winger has made a flying start to the season, as he has already netted 8 goals. Chelsea were leading the race to sign Bailey as at last week, but The Sun is reporting that they have been leapfrogged by the Gunners. Bailey came off the bench to score twice as Bayer came from behind to draw 4-4 at Hannover last week, he also scored the winner in  2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the German cup. The Gunners are believed to have sent scouts to watch him in both games. Arsene Wenger is still looking for a replacement for Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain who left the club for Liverpool last summer. Arsenal also faces the prospect of losing Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil next month, while the future of Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud remain in doubt. Bailey may not be sold next month as the German looks to push for a top four finish. He also just signed a new five years deal recently.

Manchester City star signs new two years deal after impressive start to the season

Manchester City defender, Nicholas Otamendi has signed a new two years deal at the Etihad. The Argentine has been in inspired form this season, helping the Cityzens maintain an unbeaten start to the league season after 19 games. Otamendi has featured in 18 of those matches, netting the winner against Manchester United at Old Trafford. The 29 years old has netted 5 times in all competitions this season. Otamendi is the most reliable City defender this season, with Kompany and John Stones all getting injured and missing in action at some point in the season. The Argentine reportedly had a deal until 2020, but Goal via Sun Sport is revealing that City have offered him a new two years extension. He would be the latest of City’s players to sign new deals, with Gabriel Jesus in line for a new five years contract, while Fernandinho is reportedly close to signing a one year extension, and Kevin de Bruyne is also discussing a new 6 years deal worth more that £60 million. Pep Guardiola is also reportedly interested in extending his stay with the Premier League champions despite failing to agree new deals at Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Liverpool dealt huge blow as transfer target insists he is not leaving next month

Liverpool’s hopes of Landing PSG’s Javier Pastore has been dealt a major blow, as the Argentine insists he would not be leaving the Parc des Princes next month. The Argentine play maker has been left frustrated by the lack of playing time he has had to deal with in the French capital. The arrival of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar has seen him drop down the perking order in Unai Emery’s team. The Spanish boss even prefers Julian Draxler, Angel di Maria and fellow Argentine Giovanni de Celso to Pastore. However, Pastore has insisted he is happy to remain at the club. According to Sun Sport, the attacker who has been linked with a move to Liverpool has just under two years left on his current deal, but he remains committed to the French side. Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to add Pastore’s creativity to his team, especially if Phil. Coutinho leaves Merseyside next month. Pastore has enjoy some playing time recently, as Emery continues to rotate some of his midfield players. Despite his limited appearance this season, he has scored 8 goals for PSG.

Manchester United ready to loan back youngster in order to secure his long term future

Manchester United have stepped up their interest in the signature of Fulham’s teenage sensation, Ryan Sessegnon. The 17 years old has been a revelation since he broke into the Londoners’ first team last season, and several clubs have been keeping an eye on him. He scored a hat trick last month against Sheffield United, and that performance has inspired Manchester United to Step up their pursuit of his signature. According to Sun Sports, Luke Shaw’s re-emergence into United’s first team means that the Red Devils can allow Sessegnon to continue his development at Fulham. However, they want to secure his long term future, and a £25 million move could be on the cards. The Red Devils face stiff competition from Tottenham who are also very keen on the London teenager. The Lilywhites believes Sessegnon would prefer to remain in London and stay closer to his family. They are even ready to sign his brother Stephen as well, although Stephen would have to make do with loan moves away to further his development. Sessegnon has played in all of Fulham’s 23 Championship games this season.

Italian giants willing to take Manchester United outcast on loan next month

Italian giants Inter Milan are willing to take Manchester United attacker, Henrikh Mkhitaryan on loan next month. The Armenian winger has had a frustrating spell in the north east since he made the move from Borussia Dortmund last summer. His inconsistency seem to have been frustrating for Jose Mourinho and the Portuguese manager has moved him down the perking order. The Sun is reporting that Inter are willing take Mkhi on loan for the next six months, however, they cannot guarantee that they would make the move permanent next summer. This is partly due to the fact that they do not want to come under punishment from UEFA for breaking any Financial Fair Play rule. His former club, Dortmund are reportedly also interested in taking back their man. The  Red Devils are ready to rival Chelsea for the signature of Alex Sandro, and Mourinho is reportedly ready to add Mkhi as a sweetener to the deal. Mkhitaryan would be happy to leave the north east as long as he would be guaranteed playing time at his next destination, however, the Armenian is also prepared to fight for his future if he would be given the chance.

Arsenal leading race in battle to sign Juventus star

Arsenal are currently closer than any other English team in the battle to secure the signature of Juventus centre half Daniele Rugani. According to Sun Sport, despite interest from Manchester United, the Gunners are set to launch a £35 million offer for the 23 years old. Rugani has found it hard to force his way into the Juventus line up this season, and the Gunners are looking to prise him away with the promise of first team football. The centre back was dropped from the squad in their 3-2 loss to Sampdoria earlier in the season, and the form of his fellow centre halves have made it hard for him to get back into the team. Mehdi Benatia has particularly been in solid form this season, if the Moroccan continues to perform in such a manner, Juve would have no choice but to let Rugani leave due to his demands for first team football. The Gunners however face stiff competition from Manchester United and Jose Mourinho’s interest could drive his transfer fee up next summer.

Manchester United plotting shocking move for Chelsea star

Jose Mourinho is planning a raid on his former club Chelsea, for their star man Eden Hazard. According to Talksport, the Portuguese manager is prepared to pay £90 million for the Belgian. Hazard future remains uncertain and it has been reported that the Belgian is in advanced talks with Real Madrid over a move to the Spanish capital. Hazard was reportedly close to signing for Madrid last summer, but an injury he sustained on international duty stopped that move. Per Talksport, Manchester United who hold the record for the highest transfer fee paid by a British club when they sign Paul Pogba two summers ago, are ready to break that record again and reunite Mourinho with his former charge. Hazard is reportedly no longer keen on staying with the Blues for the long term and he rejected an offer worth £300,000 per week recently. The Blues aren’t going to allow him leave without a fight, and they would offer him a new deal at the end of this season. Manchester united are also keeping an eye on Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic should Hazard to join  Real Madrid instead.

Arsenal move ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign Dutch wonderkid

Arsenal are set to land another youngster despite interest from Liverpool. The Premier League giants have been tracking 20 years old Alessio da Cruz since he was still at his native Netherlands. He sealed a move to Italian second division side Novara from FC Twente last summer, and has continued to impress in the Italian second tier. According to The Sun, he has held talks with the Gunners’ chiefs and he may have committed his future verbally to the north Londoners. He has scored five goals and provided two assists for the Italians this season, and has generally caught the eye of top Premier League sides. Jurgen Klopp is keeping an eye on him, but he has reportedly fallen behind the Gunners in the pursuit of the youngster. Inter Milan are also looking to sign him on. Da Cruz originally came through the ranks at Ajax, and spend last season on loan with Dutch second division side, Dordrecht. He scored five goals in 29 appearances for them. Per the report, he met with the Gunners’ representatives a few days back.

Arsenal in SERIOUS pursuit of Barcelona wonderkid

Arsenal have returned for a Barcelona youngster again, this time former Real Valladolid forward Jose Arnaiz is their target. The young forward has impressed in just six months at the club that the Gunners are seriously considering making an offer next month. Arniaz plays for Barca’s B team, but he scored on his first team debut in the Copa del Rey game against Real Murcia, netting in the return leg as well. He joined the Catalans for just £3.5 million, but has a release clause of £20 million which the Gunners are not scared of paying. According to Marca via Talksport, Arsenal have been extensively tracking the youngsters progress and want to bring him to the Emirates. He has netted 6 goals and provided 4 assists this season for the Barca B team. Arsenal are known to snatch top talents from Barcelona when they are young. The Gunners have made a successful career out of the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin, while others like Fran Merida have also failed to make the grade at the Emirates. Wenger would be hoping the Arniaz would come in a have a crack at the first team.

Manchester United plot shocking move for USA star

Manchester United have entered the race for Borussia Dortmund’s star winger Christian Pulisic. The American has become a regular in Dortmund’s line up this season, despite being just 19 years old. He was a subject of interest from Liverpool last summer, with the Reds failing to sign him after their £12 million offer was rejected by Dortmund. Dortmund are currently trailing Bayern Munich in the race for the German League and have been knocked out of both the German Cup they won last season and the Champions League, this appears to be the best time for the Red Devils to swoop on the talented winger. Jose Mourinho is keen on adding a winger to his team, and failed in several attempts to sign Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic last summer. The Portuguese manager has asked his club to sign Pulisic or any of Willian from Chelsea, Malcom from Bourdeax and Gareth Bale. It is very unlikely that Dortmund would want to sell Pulisic at the moment, as he represents one of their most valuable assets, however, a summer move is a possibility.
