Borussia Dortmund would be looking for a quick return to winning ways when they take on Main 04 in this game. The home side suffered a major setback in their bid to win the Bundesliga crown when they were beaten 5-0 by Bayern Munich in their last league game. That loss means they are now a point behind the defending champions and are now playing catch up. Mainz have been struggling for much of this season and we expect them to struggle here again. They have won only one of their last 8 matches against Borussia Dortmund and it doesn’t appear like they can earn yet another win in this game. Mainz come here after beating Freiburg 5-0. However, that win comes after they have lost seven of nine games. Their defence has been so leaky that they have lost by less than 3 goals in just one of their last four away games. Borussia Dortmund are an attacking team and we see them creating and taking as many chances as they can in this game.

West Ham United would head to Old Trafford still looking for their first away win of the year and end a run of 7 away defeats in 2019. Manuel Pellegrini’s side started the season in fine form after spending some good money and even recorded some interesting wins over the likes of Arsenal. However, their away form has been dreadful as they haven’t won a game away from home since they beat Southampton in December. They played well against Chelsea in the second half in their last game and that may give them some confidence of getting a result in this game as well. Manchester United haven’t lost a domestic game at home under Ole Gunnar Solkjear but their recent run of form has been terrible. The Red Devils have lost four of their last five competitive games and come here on the back of a 1-0 home loss to Barcelona in the Champions League. They face the Catalans again at Camp Nou next week so a win here would be very important for their confidence. The Likes of Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku haven’t been inspiring in front of goal and they should take their chance to change that in this game.

This game offers Manchester City the chance to avenge their shocking 3-2 loss to Palace just before Christmas but a defeat here or dropped points would put Liverpool in the driving seat in the race for the title. Manchester City suffered just their second loss of the year when they were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in the Champions League on Tuesday. The Cityzens usually bounce back quickly and they could do so here as Crystal have the third worse home record in the Premier League this season. The Eagles do well away from home but not so good at Selhurst Park. However, they held Manchester City to a goalless draw and nearly beat them the last time the defending champions visited them. The Cityzens are still very much in the race for five trophies as their manager has claimed and a win here could see them return to the top of the league table with a game in had if Chelsea takes some points off Liverpool.

This game would bring back haunting memories for Liverpool fans should be worried about a de ja vu here. The Reds were involved in a similar title race with Manchester City in 2014 when Chelsea visited Anfield. Steven Gerard slipped in the first half and Demba Ba capitalized and scored before Willian scored another goal to help the Blues earn an unlikely 2-0 win. Liverpool would throw away a 3 goals lead 8 days later in their infamous Crystambul to hand the title effectively to Manchester City. The Reds do not have the best head to head records against Chelsea and the Blues have already secured a win over them this season at Anfield, so their fans would fear for the worse. The Blues have had terrible times on the road this season and even struggled to break down Slavia Prague in the Europa League on Thursday. They eventually won the game 1-0 in the dying minutes, but they face a superior and in-form Liverpool side in this game and they would need to be on their best to stop the Reds from winning.

Tottenham would finally open the door to their new stadium after persistent delays since the start of the season. They are set begin a new era that should see them play Champions League football at their New White Hart Lane, however, results have been tough for them and it looks most likely that they could miss out on the Premier League top four. They have won none of their last five league games, with four of those matches ending in losses for them. Their 2-1 loss against Burnley last month started a chain of poor results that ended in a 2-1 loss to Liverpool on Sunday. They are 4th on the league table after Arsenal’s win on Monday and they would need a win here to keep their top four hopes alive. Crystal Palace would not be an easy ride for the Lilywhites. The Eagles are currently 13th on the league table but they have been solid when they play away from home. They have lost just one of their last six away matches and they have taken some points off the big sides on their travels, most famously beating Manchester City at the Etihad. Meanwhile, Spurs have only kept a clean sheet in four of their 14 home league games this season, including just one of their last six. Crystal Palace will understandably feel confident about getting on the scoresheet, but with just one clean sheet in their last eight away games we can’t see them keeping Harry Kane and company out at the other end.

Chelsea were extremely lucky to have secured a win against Cardiff City at the weekend. The Blues found themselves 1-0 down heading into the closing stages of that game, but a stroke of luck helped them equalize with a goal that was clearly offside before sealing the win with yet another goal in the dying seconds of that game. That win helped take some pressure of Maurizio Sarri whose team has been doing badly away from home for most of the season. However, they have more often than not turned on the style when they play at Stamford Bridge and their fans would be hopeful that this turns out to be yet another win for them. Brighton were very poor at the weekend and that led to them suffering a 1-0 home loss against Southampton. That was also the first time they had lost a game in 3 matches bringing to an end their two games winning streak. This game offers them another chance to shock a big side as they have done often since they got promoted back to the Premier League but Chelsea may not allow them here.

Manchester City and Liverpool are in one of the closest title races in recent memories and the back and forth at the top of the Premier League table continued at the weekend. Manchester City were top before Liverpool played on Sunday but the Reds earned a somewhat fortunate 2-1 win over Tottenham to return to the top of the Premier League table, two points ahead of City. The Cityzens have this game in hand and they would be looking to win this game and  top the league by one point. The defending champions would still have to face Manchester United and Tottenham while Liverpool would only face Chelsea as a big team before the end of this season, so City would feel they have to win here. Cardiff City were so unlucky to have been beaten by Chelsea at the weekend. The first goal scored by the Blues was a clear offside and they managed to score yet again in the dying seconds. That defeat leaves Cardiff City very much in relegation trouble with 5 points needed for them to avoid the drop. They would be fighting for their future in this game but it would be a tough night for them against a Manchester City side that is looking to win the quadruple.

This would be one of the most interesting matches this weekend as both of these sides have always played out thrilling contests. There is also a lot at stake at the moment for both teams with Chelsea looking to end inside the top four while Everton would be looking to end campaign inside a Europa League place at least. Everton have had a terrible time in most games this season with their defensive issues continuing to affect their overall performances. They took a 2-0 lead in their last league game against Newcastle but they still ended up losing the game 3-2. This sort of defensive collapse has been rampant this season and would definitely be punished if they are allowed to show up here. Chelsea are looking to return to the Premier League top four  but a win here would only be enough if it has enough goal difference and if Arsenal loses. The Blues played and won well in the Europa League in midweek and their fans would be hoping that they can star here again.

Liverpool would be looking to return to the top of the Premier League table and hopefully stay there until the end of the season when they take on struggling Fulham in this game. The host have had a dreadful season and with just about 8 games to go they look set for an immediate return to the English championship. Liverpool took Bayern Munich apart in midweek after crushing the Germans 3-1 away from home despite ending the first leg goalless at Anfield. The Red’s performance in that game shows why every team wants to avoid them in the Champions League next round. They would find it not so difficult to win this game and we believe it is only a matter of how many goals the Cottagers can stop them from scoring. Liverpool would top the league by 2 points if they win here and Manchester City would still have to play Manchester United and Tottenham, so the Reds’ fans can be optimistic that this game would end in a certain win for their team.
