Bayern Munich make Manchester United target their TOP SUMMER target

Bayern Munich have reportedly made Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani one of the players they are desperate to sign this summer.  The Bavarians are keen on adding an extra attacker to their ranks after struggling to replace Robert Lewandowski this season. The Polish attacker departed for Camp Nou last summer, and the club signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool as his replacement in attack. But the Senegal international has been largely unsuccessful in his bid to replace Lewandoski and could be sold this summer after falling out with the club.  Read more: Liverpool make Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister the Primary target for midfield rebuild So the Bundesliga club are looking to sign a new attacker this summer as they plan for an overhaul in that department. Names like Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen have been linked with a move.  However, according to Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, French attacker Randal Kolo Muani is ahead of the duo on the list of priorities for Bayern Munich this summer.  As per the report, the first round of talks has already occurred between the player’s party and Bayern. The Eintracht Frankfurt striker is one of Europe’s most sought-after players this season after a blistering season with the German club. The 224-year-old has scored 21 goals and provided 42 assists in 42 appearances this summer. Frankfurt values him at €65million and considers themselves in a strong bidding position given that he has a long contract expiring in 2027.

Newcastle vs Arsenal: Preview and Expert Prediction

Newcastle United and Arsenal will battle for three points this Sunday, with both sides looking for the win to keep them on track for their respective quests. Newcastle are looking to finish in the top four this season after a decade of absence from European football. And with five games to go, the Magpies are near their aim, so they will be desperate to win here. Eddie Howe’s side come into this tie on the back of an impressive eight wins from nine Premier League games (L1). That run includes a 6-1 home demolition of Arsenal’s North London rivals, Tottenham, at this stadium.  So they will want to win again at St. James’ Park and extend their four straight league wins at home. They will also fancy their chances of getting maximum points given their home form. Read more: West Ham United vs Manchester United: Preview and Expert Football Prediction The hosts have lost just once at home this season (W10, L5), while the eleven goals they have conceded on this ground is the second-fewest in the league.  Meanwhile, Arsenal’s goal for the season remains to win the Premier League title despite their late collapse. Although the Gunners have relinquished the top spot to Pep Guardiola’s relentless Manchester City side, they remain hopeful of winning the title.  Mikel Arteta’s side bounced back from a run of four games without a win last time out when they beat Chelsea 3-1 at home. They will now travel to Tyneside looking to record back-to-back league wins for the first time since April and to keep themselves one point behind City at the top of the table. Meanwhile, No side has kept more PL away clean sheets than Arsenal’s nine this season – almost twice as many as any other side. Given their clean sheet record away from home and Newcastle’s strength at the back, this will likely be a low-scoring affair. So we suggest a bet of under 2.5 goals.

AC Milan vs Lazio: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Serie A second-best side Lazio will look to keep their status as the best of the rest this Saturday when they travel to the San Siro to play top-four hopefuls AC Milan. Milan are one of the six teams battling for the remaining three positions in the top four behind Napoli. Back-to-back home matches seemed like a good opportunity for them to climb up the table in their quest for a top-four finish, but a surprising 1-1 draw against Cremonese dented those hopes.  That result served as their fourth stalemate in five league outings (W1), leaving them two points behind fourth-placed Inter ahead of this round.  Read more: Lens vs Marseille: Preview and Expert Football Prediction Despite those draws, Milan have won five of their last eight competitive home matches (D3) and will hope a swift return home to face Lazio can start their final push here, considering they won three of their four home Serie A outings against sides currently above them in the table (L1).  Still, the threat of another stalemate looms as Milan is one of three teams in the top-five European leagues to have recorded nine draws in 2023. Meanwhile, Lazio will travel to San Siro for the second time in eight days looking to record back-to-back league wins after back-to-back defeats before their last outing.  Maurizio Sarri’s side comes into this tie on the back of a 2-0 win over Sassuolo. That win helped them maintain the dream of a second-placed finish alive, though they now face fierce competition from Juventus for that spot. Despite being the joint-second-best away team in Serie A this season (W9, D4, L3), two of Lazio’sLazio’s three away league defeats came against fellow Champions League hopefuls Juventus and Inter. Those games were responsible for 60% of Lazio’sLazio’s ten away Serie A goals conceded this term.  That record could also get worse, given the visitors have lost each of their last three away H2Hs against Milan, conceding nine goals in the process. Meanwhile, four of the last six head-to-head meetings between both sides have scored a goal inside the opening ten minutes. So a first-half goal prediction will be good for this game. Lens vs Marseille

Lens vs Marseille: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Ligue 1 resumes this Saturday with second and third-placed sides Marseille and Lens battling for a place behind Paris Saint-Germain. The hosts come into this tie sitting in third position, six points behind the Parisians. However, manager Franck Haise admitted his side made a “big push for the podium” after their 1-0 against Coupe de France winners Toulouse on Tuesday. That win was their sixth victory in seven Ligue 1 outings (L1) and extended their lead over fourth-placed Monaco to eight points with just five games remaining. They now battle it out here with another candidate for a UEFA Champions League placing in the shape of Marseille in what appears to be a crucial “six-pointer”, knowing that a win would take them above their opponents into the second spot. Read more: Liverpool vs Brentford: Preview and Expert Football Prediction  Fans, therefore, may be dreaming of a first top-two finish in Ligue 1 since 2001/02, and the visit of Marseille should be good to weigh their progress after failing to win any of the previous four head-to-head meetings at Stade Bollaert-Delelis (D1, L3).  Their home form could continue to be vital to stopping that run, considering they sit top of the Ligue 1 home standings (W14, D1, L1).  Meanwhile, Marseille will look to narrow the gap between them and Paris Saint-Germain, albeit temporarily, when they travel to Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Saturday. The Olympians trail PSG by five points ahead of this round and could reduce the gap if they take maximum points here. They were on the cusp of suffering their first league loss in over two months last weekend, but two late strikes saved them from an embarrassing defeat against relegation-battling Auxerre (2-1). Igor Tudor’s men have showcased their ability to recover from poor starts, with their win against Auxerre contributing to the division’s best average point return (1.5) after conceding first this campaign (W5, D3, L4). That speaks volumes of the character within the group, and their impressive away form this campaign (W12, D3, L1) could be key to avoid suffering a first losing league double against Lens in over 20 years. Meanwhile, Lens’ Brice Samba has registered more clean sheets (14) in Ligue 1 this season than any other goalkeeper. So we can expect a tight affair here, with under 2.5 goals highly likely. Liverpool vs Brentford: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Liverpool will look to continue their remarkable run of form this Saturday when they welcome Brentford to Anfield. The Reds have enjoyed a strong run in the past few matchdays, winning five in a row after their 1-0 win over Fulham in midweek. That win took them to fifth position in the league, four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played a game less. So there is still a remote chance they can finish in the top four places of the Premier League. Although Jurgen Klopp has played down that possibility, instead focusing on his side’sside’s winning run, he will quietly wish Manchester would keep dropping points. Read more: Manchester City vs Leeds United: Preview and Expert Football Prediction  But to finish higher than they currently are, they will have to keep winning games and hope that something dramatic happens between now and the end of the season.   As unlikely as that seems, Klopp’s men tend to excel as the season draws to a close, having won 12 of their last 13 games in May (D1). They’ll fancy their chances of getting all three more points here, given their impressive record across their last 40 PL matches at Anfield (W30, D9, L1). Meanwhile, Brentford come into this tie in decent shape, having won their last two games, including a 2-0 win over Chelsea. However, for this tie, they are underdogs as they’ve won only two of their 14 PL matches against sides in the top five when the Bees faced them (D5, L7).  But they will be unafraid here, having beaten 3-1 in the reverse fixture. So there may be no better time for manager Thomas Frank to etch his name into the history books, as he could register only Brentford’sBrentford’s second-ever win at Anfield in eleven attempts (D2, L7) while completing their first-ever league double over the Reds. A point wouldn’t be a bad result for Brentford either, and considering they’ve drawn more PL matches this season than any other side (14), they could prove stubborn to break down. Manchester City vs Leeds United: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Leeds United will begin life after Javi Garcia this Saturday when they travel to the Etihad Stadium to face top-of-the-table Manchester City. The hosts welcome the struggling Elland Road outfit to the Etihad Stadium, looking for the three points that will keep them on course for their fifth title in the last six years. They come into this tie on the back of a 3-0 win over West Ham United–their ninth consecutive league win. The win also saw the mercurial striker make history as his 35th league goal of the league season makes him the player with the most goals in a single PL campaign. Having recorded their 14th straight win at the Etihad last time, they are favourites for another routine home win here. Read more: AC Milan vs Lazio: Preview and Expert Football Prediction Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce will look to kickstart his Leeds United reign with a rare win when he takes his side to the Etihad on Saturday. The veteran Englishman has been tasked with keeping the Yorkshire club in the Premier League with just four games to play. He has a reputation for firefighting and has come out gun blazing, claiming that he has the same level of experience as Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp. However, his record against the City boss does not inspire confidence ahead of this tie, as he has lost all four prior personal head-to-head meetings against Pep Guardiola. That record suggests that any personal ”redemption” will be delayed at best, especially with all those losses seeing his team at the time concede 3+ goals. Meanwhile, each of Leeds’ three most recent away defeats have seen them concede 2+ second-half goals. So we suggest a Goal First Half prediction here.

Paris Saint-Germain WILLING to Sell Achraf Hakimi

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly placed right-back Achraf Hakimi on the list of players they are willing to sell this summer if the right offer comes. The Paris-based club are looking to trim their squad this summer and have put several of their first team stars on the shop window. Lionel Messi is arguably the biggest name on that list, with the Argentina international expected to leave this summer when his contract at Parc des Princes expires. PSG want to build their team around a crop of young French players, with Kylian Mbappe the new face of that project. Players like Neymar, Leandro Parades, and Julian Draxler could also leave should the right bid come in. Read more: Arsenal revives interest in Wolves speed star However, according to CaughtOffside, PSG are also open to selling one of their younger star players Achraf Hakimi.  The 24-year-old defender is one of the most important players in Paris and has nailed down the right-back position. But as per the report, Les  Parisians are looking to reduce the wage bill keeping Financial Fair Play in mind, and so are willing to let him go if a club brings enough money. There has been interest from Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea. However, the Blues are well-stocked in that department with Reece James the undisputed starter at right back. Meanwhile, Manchester United have Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka fighting for the right back position. But they are thought to be interested in a Hakimi, who they feel is ahead of the two players they currently have in that position.

Arsenal revives interest in Wolves speed star

Arsenal have reportedly rekindled their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto and want to sign him this summer. Mikel Arteta’s side have held a long-term interest in the Portuguese star and were keen on landing Neto before the start of the season to provide competition for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. According to Football Insider, Neto is back on Mikel Arteta’s summer shopping list after he returned to action last month following a long absence due to injury.  Read more: ‘I’m as good as Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp & Mikel Arteta’: Sam Allardyce As per the report, the Gunner are keeping an eye on the Portuguese as he makes a total return from the injury that sidelined him for five months earlier this season. The 23-year-old have made just 16 PL appearances in the league this season without scoring a goal.  Wolves value him over €32million but do not want to lose him this summer. So, they are ready to rebuff any interest in the winger this summer.

Liverpool make Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister the Primary target for midfield rebuild

Liverpool have reportedly made Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister their top summer transfer target. Jurgen Klopp’s side are keen to overhaul their midfield after a disappointing campaign which has seen them fail to mount a title charge. They have identified several midfielders to fill the gap that will open in their midfield this summer. According to GOAL, the Reds have now identified 24-year-old Mac Allister as a player who can make a big difference to Klopp’s side. Read more: James Milner SET for Brighton Move this Summer But the Anfield side are not alone in their desire to sign the Argentine World Cup winner, with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly keen to sign him.  The player will not come cheap, too, with Brighton expected to demand around £70 million ($88m) for Mac Allister. However, the Seagulls are aware of the player’s desire to move on at the end of this season and will be forced to lower their wages. Apart from Mac Allister, Liverpool also retains a keen interest in the 24-year-old’s midfield partner at the Amex Stadium, Moises Caicedo. But the Reds fear Brighton’s asking price for the Ecuadorian will prove prohibitive, with the Seagulls rejecting an offer of £70m ($88m) from Arsenal for the 21-year-old in January.

Mainz vs Schalke 04: Preview and Expert Football Prediction

Bundesliga returns with European hopefuls Mainz taking on struggling Schalke 04 at Mewa Arena this Friday. The host’s impressive run of ten Bundesliga games without defeat (W6, D4) was ended last time after a 3-0 loss to Wolfsburg away from home.  That result was the first time Mainz failed to score in a league game since they suffered a 1-0 defeat in the reverse fixture against Schalke in November.  But with a three-point gap from sixth place coming into the round, the visitors will see this as a must-win game if they want to keep their European hopes alive. Read more: Bayer Leverkusen vs FC Cologne: Preview and Expert Football Prediction  Returning to Mewa Arena will undoubtedly give them a big boost as they are unbeaten in six Bundesliga games in front of their own fans (W4, D2), most impressively beating Bayern Munich 3-1 during that run.  Schalke kept their potential relegation away for another game after they secured what could prove to be a crucial 2-1 comeback win against Werder Bremen last time. That result means they have won their last two home games for the first time this season.  The target will be to follow that up with successive league wins across all venues, which they’ve achieved only once this season.  But they have a terrible away record, having won just once away from home this season (D5, L8). Meanwhile, four of the six away games in which they collected points were against opponents in the bottom half of the table at that time (W1, D3). So that’s not a good sign for this Schalke side who, despite improving recent results, come into the round in 17th, albeit now just one point from safety. Meanwhile, both teams have scored in just two of the last eight head-to-head meetings, while the last two meetings combined produced just one match goal. So we can expect a low-scoring affair here, with under 2.5 goals very likely.  Click here to get expert football predictions.
