Liverpool were the most decorated club in England for a long period of time, but since the re-branding of the English top flight game and renaming it the Premier League, the Reds have yet to win the competition.
In the last decade, they have come close to winning it twice but failed to do so, they are currently top of the Premier League table again here and having lost just a single game in the league season, this could be the year they ended their wait.
They come into this game after back to back wins over Brighton and Crystal Palace and their players would be confident of clinching yet another win here.
Leicester City have recorded some upsetting wins in the Premier League in the last two months after beating Chelsea and Leicester City.
However, the pressure has returned for Claude Puel as his team come here having lost 4 of their last 5 games in all competitions.
They have been a bogey team to Liverpool for some time now but the Reds have won the last three meetings between them.
Borussia Dortmund would be looking to keep up their 6 points gap over Bayern Munich when they host struggling Hannover 96 in this game.
The Bundesliga leaders edge out a close contest 1-0 away at Leipzig the last time out to keep themselves firmly in control of the Bundesliga race.
That win was their 4th consecutive win. They tend to do even better when they play at home and their fans would be confident that they can record another win a here and keep themselves at the forefront of the title race.
Hannover, on the other hand, head to this game after suffering yet another 1-0 home loss at the hands of Werder Bremen.
They have managed to collect just 11 points from 18 games this season and come here in the relegation zone. Their current form doesn’t seem to make a case that they can cause an upset, but they were good enough to hold Dortmund to a draw at home in the reverse fixture and they would be looking to do that here as well.

This would be the first game that PSG would play without Neymar as the Brazilian begins a spell on the sidelines yet again.
Neymar left the pitch in tears having injured himself against Strasbourg last week. The Brazilian was accused of showboating by their opponents in that game and was at the end of some dangerous challenges, but his injury came solely from him kicking the pitch.
It would be interesting to see how the French champions fair without him as they go chasing their 11th consecutive home win in the league this season.
This game is traditionally one of the toughest for PSG as Rennes tend to know how to get results when they visit the French champions.
The last seven games between these sides have all ended in away wins, however, PSG have had to visit Rennes in six of those games.
The visitors come here having won 3 of their last 6 league visits to the Parc des Princes, including the last in May last year.
Melbourne City would be looking to get back to winning ways after back to back matches without a win. The host were on a good run of form before playing two matchdays back as they had won 4 of 5 games.
However, they were beaten by South Coast Mariners on the 16th and were held to a draw by Perth Glory the last timeout.
They offered very little going forward in their game against Glory and Warren Joyce would be hoping for a better performance from his players in this game.
Western Sydney Wanderers are on an awful run of form ahead of this game as they have lost six of their last seven games and come here on a run of five consecutive defeats.
This terrible run of form has seen them collect just 9 points from 14 games this season and their fans would only hope that they can keep things tighter at the back for this game as they have conceded 15 goals in their last 6 games.
They are currently third from bottom on the league table, while Melbourne City are 9 points off the top of the league table and would be looking to get a win here to help them close the gap.
This is arguably the biggest game in Portugal this week as two of the country’s big teams go head to head to determine who would be reaching the league Cup final on Saturday.
FC Porto currently lead the Portuguese league table and look set to win the title again this year, but Benfica who just fired their manager would be looking to stop them from winning the league and Cup double by the end of this season.
This game would be played on a neutral ground and should offer both teams an equal chance of winning and it would be interesting to see who come out on top.
FC Porto collected the league title from the hands of Benfica last season and they look to have kept their momentum going into this season, winning the Super Cup within the last 12 months as well.
The last five games between these sides have seen less than 3 goals scored in total while the last two meetings have ended in 1-0 wins for each side.
EA Guingamp come into this week after what is arguably the most difficult weekend of their careers. They had beaten PSG 2-1 in the French Cup just a week back, but their return to the venue of their biggest result this season was a more terrible one.
They were beaten 9-0 by Thomas Tuchel’s men as Neymar and Co. took their time to exert revenge on the 2014 French Cup winners. That result ended a good spell of 4 wins in 6 games for Guingamp and their confidence must have taken a big hit ahead of this game.
They has just 2 shots on target and faced 12 shots on target in that game, but they would feel this game would not come with so much work like the weekend’s.
Their opponent are also having a bad season in the French second tier. Nancy are bottom of Ligue 2 and come into this game on the back of two consecutive losses.
In those losses, they showed signs of improvement though and their fans would be hoping that they can keep that up when they host this struggling Ligue 1 bottom side.
These teams have only faced off twice since 2005 with Guingamp winning both clashes, 2-0 in 2016 and 1-0 in 2017.
