Liverpool are set to complete the signing of AS Monaco star, Thomas Lemar next month.

The Reds were close to signing the attacking midfielder last summer, but Arsenal’s last minute attempt to hijack the deal unsettled the player and he decided to remain in Monaco instead.

With the sale of Phil. Coutinho imminent, Liverpool have reportedly prepare to sign Lemar for £90 million next month according to Read Liverpool FC.

The Reds are bracing themselves for a bid of at least £130 million for Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona, and Jurgen Klopp believes that Lemar can do a good job in replacing the Brazilian.

The Reds are very well stocked in their attack with Mohammed Salah helping with the goals, but club wants more depth just in case suspension and injury sets in.

Although Arsenal are still interested in his signature, Lemar reportedly favours a move to Anfield as he wants to play for Jurgen Klopp.

Meanwhile, the Reds are also planning to send some of their players out on loan next month, but Daniel Sturridge would not be one of them.

Danny Ings, Ovie Ejaria, and Ben Woodburn are all expected to make temporary switches away for more first team action.
