Manchester united are set to follow in the footsteps of their city rivals in signing their own Brazilian wonder kid.

Daily Mail is reporting that United have entered talks with French side Bordeaux  for the signature of their Brazilian star, Malcom.

The 20 years old has been in stunning form for them this season and has netted 7 goals in 18 games.

He joined them from Corinthians last year, and has impressed in the French league.

Jose Mourinho considers Malcom to be one of the best young players in Europe and wants to steal a match on his other suitors.

Bordeaux have reportedly asked the Red Devils to pay £50 million for the attacker, but the Red Devils will only pay £33 million.

Manchester City signed Gabriel Jesus last season, and the Brazilian has set the Premier League alight. His performance has made other teams to develop interest in signing young Brazilian players.

The Red Devils would reportedly sign Malcom next month and loan him back to Bordeaux so he can continue to enjoy regular playing time.

Malcom was born just six weeks before Gabriel Jesus, and reportedly has a gentle man agreement with Bordeaux that he would be allowed to leave if a big club comes.
