AS Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini is set to spark a bidding war between the top three teams in the Premier League.

The Italy international has been in solid form for Roma this season in the 23 games he has played for the Giallorossi.

His form hasn’t gone unnoticed and several top European sides are looking to swoop on his signature this month.’

Surprisingly, he has a release clause which is just £21 million a figure that would be too easy for any Premier League team to shell out this month.

Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho who are currently taking swipes at each other would take that personal battle into the transfer market as they both look to convince Pellegrini to sign for them.

Pep Guardiola is also interested, and with his team 15 points ahead of their closest rival, the youngster may well choose to join them.

Pellegrini started out at the Roma youth system but developed his career further at Sassuolo.

He starred for the Serie A side, forcing Roma to exercise the buy-back clause of £9 million they had inserted in the deal that took to away in the first place.

He has scored 2 goals in 14 Serie A games this season.
