Tottenham’s search for a new permanent manager continues, leading them to the Netherlands, where they are looking to snatch exciting young coach Arne Slot from Feyenoord.

The North London club, who sacked Antonio Conte last month, are in the midst of a crisis that has seen them fail to win in four games. 

As such, they are in danger of missing out on European football next season, especially as their 4-3 loss to Liverpool at the weekend has caused the Reds to leapfrog them on the league table.

After sacking interim manager Cristian Stellini and replacing him with Ryan Mason, they remain in the hunt for a new manager. 

According to ESPN, Feyenoord boss Arne Slot is now seen as a “serious contender to take over the job. The Dutchman is considered one of Europe’s most exciting young coaches after his remarkable work with Feyenoord in the Dutch league.

His side have lost just once in the Eredivisie this season (W22, D7) and are sitting comfortably on top of the Dutch league table.

Meanwhile, former Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann is also a target and on the shortlist for Daniel Levy and co. At the same time, former Manchester City captain and Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is also a candidate.
