Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte may have provided a hint that he is set to sign Bayern Munich midfielder, Arturo Vidal.

The Chilean has been in fine form this season, and spent four trophy-laden years with Conte at Juventus, and they could be reunited again soon.

Speaking after Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Brighton on Boxing Day, Conte admitted that Vidal was a player he would love to go to war with, if he has the opportunity to.

Vidal’s long term future could be outside the Allianz Arena after German publication, Kicker claimed the Bundesliga leaders would listen to offers for his signature.

The two time Copa America winner has less than two years left on his current deal, and by the time it comes up for renewal, he would be 32 years old.

Vidal won four consecutive Serie A titles in Italy alongside Conte, as well as a Copa Italia.

Having started his European career at Bayer Leverkusen, he returned to Germany to join Bayern Munich two years ago. He has been a German League in every season he has played for the Bundesliga leaders.

Vidal has started 11 games this season, netting 5 times and providing 2 assists.
