According to Calciomercato, the German side have determined they would send the Manchester City defender back to the Etihad after the season rather than make his loan permanent. Although his life in Munich started strongly, as he gave an assist in his first game, overall, his time in Germany hasn’t gone as he had hoped. He’s been dealt with the same diminished squad role issue that infuriated him under Pep Guardiola.
