Barcelona is making a late attempt to persuade Jules Kounde into joining them instead of moving to Chelsea.

The Frenchman has been one of their long-term targets and he will join Kalidou Koulibaly as a new defender at Stamford Bridge in the coming days.
However, Matchplug understands that Barcelona wants him and they are now attempting to persuade the France International to join them instead of Chelsea.
Barca has been struggling financially, but they have just raised more funds by selling some of the club’s assets and they will reinvest it in their playing squad.
