Manchester United has terminated the contract of former PSG star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the Swede looks to kickstart his ending career in the United States of America.
Ibrahimovic joined Manchester United last season and helped the Red Devils win the Community Shield, Carabao Cup and Europa League. He netted 28 times in that season to end as the club’s top scorer.
However, he got injured close to the end of that season and he could not recover in time to start preseason with the Europa League holders, but Jose Mourinho still gave him a new deal. He has played just 6 games for United this season and has not featured since their Boxing Day draw at Burnley.
He is set to join LA Galaxy on a two-year deal worth in excess of $1.5 million of Targeted Allocation Money which is the highest he can earn in the MLS.
Ibro posted an emotional farewell message on his Instagram account in which he confirmed his switch and thanked the club for the opportunity they gave him to play in the Premier League.
