Swansea dented Bristol City’s dreams of reaching the Championship play-offs as Josh Tymon scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at Ashton Gate on Sunday.

Tymon scored a goal in the 55th minute, after goalkeeper Max O’ Leary could only parry a Goncalo Franco shot into his path.

Bristol City couldn’t secure a goal in the first half because of excellent saves from Lawrence Vigouroux.

“I see Bristol City as genuine play-off contenders.

Liam Manning is a brilliant coach, and they should back him long-term.

This could turn out to be a very important result for us,” Swansea manager Luke Williams said.
