Viktor Gyökeres will miss Sporting Champions League second-leg clash against Borussia Dortmund. Despite being named in the starting line up against the Portuguese club 2-2 draw with Arouca, the Swedish striker has not traveled with the team and will not be available for the second leg of the match, handing Dortmund a boost ahead of the clash.
Sporting reported on the UCL website, explaining that his and Francisco Trincao’s absence are a ‘physical management measure’ and nothing more.
