Wolves have appointed Rob Edwards as their new head coach following Vitor Pereira’s departure. Edwards leaves Middlesbrough, who are second in the Championship, after a strong start to the season.
The Welshman returns to Wolves, where he played 100 games and later coached the under-18s. Wolves chairman Jeff Shi said Edwards’ approach will be central to a club-wide “refresh.”
Shi praised Edwards’ growth as a coach, his tactical knowledge, and his connection to the club, fans, and city. He added that Edwards will help shape a new chapter for Wolves with his ideas and leadership.
