The San Francisco Giants have done it again! For the second straight night, the Giants pulled off a late-inning comeback at Coors Field. They erupted for seven runs in the final two innings to turn a three-run deficit into a 10-7 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.
It marked the Giants’ 20th comeback win of the season and extended their winning streak to seven games. At 40-28, San Francisco now sits just a half-game behind the first-place Dodgers (41-28) in the NL West.
Despite losing Matt Chapman (right hand inflammation) and Patrick Bailey (neck strain) in consecutive days, the Giants stayed locked in. Willy Adames, Casey Schmitt, and Mike Yastrzemski each drove in multiple runs. Together they fueled team’s first double-digit scoring effort since May 13.
The Giants wrap up the series against Colorado on Thursday. After which, they head into a crucial showdown with the Dodgers.
