Real Salt Lake chose Forster Ajago in Stage 1 of the 2024 MLS Re-Entry Draft, signing him through 2025 with provisions for 2026-27.
Nashville SC signed Ajago out of Duke University ahead of the 2024 MLS campaign. He played only under 400 minutes in his rookie year. Ajago spent most of his time with Salt Lake’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, Huntsville City FC, delivering 7g/3a in 13 appearances.
The 23-year-old forward brings depth to a striking corps headed by Cristian “Chicho’’ Arango and Anderson Julio.
In 2024, Salt Lake finished the season third in the Western Conference before losing to Minnesota United FC in Round One of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
