PSG, BVB, Palace battle for Cherki

Crystal Palace are behind in the race for Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki. 

Palace want to sign Cherki in January, but risk being beaten to it by PSG and Borussia Dortmund. 

According to the Sun, Palace are ready to offer £30m for Cherki, but PSG and BVB are prepared to pay more.

Furthemore, despite Crystal director John Textor also owning Lyon, he is expected to sell the highest bidder. 

For his part, Cherki would also prefer a transfer to a Champions League team if he must leave cash-strapped OL.
