Mavs’ Anthony Davis return for Monday game uncertain

Anthony Davis is nearing a return for the Mavericks after a six-week injury absence. He’s listed as doubtful for Monday’s game against Brooklyn, the start of a four-game road trip.

Davis hasn’t played since injuring his left groin in his Dallas debut on Feb. 8, shortly after being traded for Luka Doncic. The Mavericks, battling Phoenix for the final play-in spot, could get him back during the trip, with seven of their last 11 games on the road.
