Rodrygo’s father has reportedly held talks with Manchester City, according to Okdiario’s chief pundit Eduardo Inda on El Chiringuito.
Rodrygo, who has been linked with Liverpool for some time, is now attracting interest from City, with Inda claiming the club is making a serious move for the Brazilian forward.
“They tell me that the father of Rodrygo Goes,” Inda said. “The entourage denies it, but they tell me that he’s gone to talk. He saw people from Manchester City a few weeks ago, and they insisted that he go play with Pep Guardiola.
“They offer him to play on the left flank, which is what the kid and the father want.”
Inda added that Real Madrid cannot guarantee Rodrygo a place in his preferred position due to Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe, whereas City are offering him that role along with a higher salary.
Rodrygo remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2028.
