Lawson Crouse scored the game-winning goal with 7:48 left in regulation, leading the Utah Hockey Club to a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks at Delta Center on Tuesday.
As Utah continues to build its identity, Crouse believes the team is moving in the right direction. “It’s a lot of fun when we play this way,” he said. “Everyone’s contributing, and it pushes us to be the best we can be.”
Lawson Crouse’s backhand shot beat Chicago goalie Arvid Soderblom, marking his first home goal since Nov. 29. “You can see he doesn’t overthink the game,” Utah coach Andre Tourigny said. “I like the way he played, the pace he played. I think that line was excellent again tonight.
“Obviously, they got the big goal as well, but the pace and the key moment, they were really good.”
