La Liga president Javier Tebas has lashed out at Real Madrid TV.
Real Madrid’s TV channel released footage of referee Jorge Figueroa Vazquez warning Jude Bellingham during their victory against Villareal: “Be careful with me’’.
In reaction, Tebas said at the AS awards last night: “I saw Real Madrid’s TV show on the referees. I don’t think there is any campaign against Bellingham or Vinicius at the refereeing level.
“Very dangerous stories for football are constructed on Real Madrid TV.
“The referees are not very precise and they need to improve, I’ve been saying this for a long time and Real Madrid didn’t support me. The words of the match director? If it’s that clear, it must have at least one alarm bell.”
