New York Rangers Arthur Kaliyev is out for the rest of the season due to an upper-body injury.
The 23-year-old forward last game was against the Winnipeg Jets which took place on March 11. He has accumulated four points (three goals, one assist) in 14 games after being claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Kings on Jan. 6.
He also scored a goal and gave an assist in Ranger’s last five games with Ontario of the American Hockey League.
“Another young player that we’re moving in and out of the lineup,” Rangers coach Peter Laviolette said.

“He’s done some good things for us and he got back in the lineup, chance to make an impact and that happens. You want to see anybody go down, so that’s tough.”
