Juan Mata will leave Manchester United next summer and his replacement would come from Chelsea

Jose Mourinho has already begun making plans for next season as he looks to take the Premier League title from Manchester City.

The Portuguese manager is already fed up with the form and performance level of some of his star players and he is ready to bring the axe on some of them.

One player who would most likely not be at Old Trafford next season is former Chelsea star, Juan Mata whose deal remains just a year.

According to Sun Sport, Jose Mourinho is already lining up a replacement for the diminutive Spaniard who was a club record signing from Chelsea in the winter of 2014.

Per the reports, the Portuguese tactician has earmarked Chelsea’s Willian as the ideal replacement for Mata. Willian was close to joining the Red Devils last summer, but changed his mind and decided to remain at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2020, so Chelsea do have a strong hand in negotiations and they would reportedly demand for the same 30 million they paid for his service five years ago.
