Cody Glass impressed fans in his debut game for the New Jersey Devils, leading them to a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.
Glass who joined the Devils in a trade with Pittsburgh opened the scoring at 11:10 of the first period when a pass from Stefen Noesen deflected off a Flyers defenseman.
“It felt good,” Glass said. “Helps having ‘Hauls’ on my line, and then Sprong is kind of going through the same thing as me. Hauls has done a great job of making me feel a little bit comfortable. It’s a lot of systems, a lot of stuff that I’ve been thinking about on the ice. So, once I get the thinking out of the game, hopefully I feel a little bit more comfortable out there.”
