Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini remains cautious about his team’s Serie A title prospects, despite their dominant 5-0 victory over Empoli on Sunday. He stated that there is no chance for errors as the season enters its most cruicial phase.
The win over Empoli was important as it moved third-placed Atalanta three points behind league leaders Inter Milan and just two behind second-placed Napoli. Currently, they also tie with Inter as the highest-scoring team in the Serie A this season with 59 goals.
Despite these achievements, Gasperini acknowledged the unpredictability of the title race and is trying is best avoid any slip up’s as there are still 12 remaining games to play.
