Fiorentina confirmed on Monday that club’s forward Moise Kean has been released from the hospital after suffering a head injury and collapsing on the field during the Fiorentina VS Hellas Verona game.
Moise Kean, 24, was hit in the head while struggling for the ball on Sunday. Pawel Dawidowicz’s accidentally struck him on the head with his knee. Although he fell down initially, he continued playing normally after treatment. Then, he suddenly lost his balance and collapsed, prompting players and staff to call for immediate medical attention.
Kean who’s currently the League’s highest scorer was carried off the field on a stretcher wearing a neck brace and taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Fiorentina later confirmed in a statement that Kean was okay, his medical tests returned negative and that he returned to Florence after being discharged overnight.
