Borussia Dortmund beat Hoffenheim 2–0 in a crucial Bundesliga top-four battle.
Julian Brandt marked his 200th league appearance with the opening goal, finishing a Yan Couto cross just before halftime.
Both teams started fast, and Hoffenheim tested Gregor Kobel early, but Dortmund settled and created the better chances.
After the break, Dortmund pushed for a second. Daniel Svensson was denied, but Nico Schlotterbeck sealed the win with a classy strike from the edge of the box.
The victory strengthens Dortmund’s position in the chase for Champions League spots.
