Steph Curry is not new to setting new milestones in the NBA. On Monday night, he will be just seven 3-pointers away from making history as the first NBA player to hit 4,000 career threes.
He’ll break the record in the Warriors VS Trail Blazers game happening on Monday (10 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass).
In December 2021, Curry became the league’s all-time leader in 3-pointers , when he surpassed Ray Allen’s record with his 2,974th make. Since that memorable night at Madison Square Garden, 1,180 days have passed, and Curry has added 1,012 more threes over 221 games, putting him on the verge of yet another milestone.
He was the first player to reach 3,000 career threes, a mark later joined by James Harden (3,117). While Damian Lillard (2,785) and Klay Thompson (2,657) are closing in on that milestone, Curry is setting his sights on 4,000.
