Napoli Coach, Conte takes responsibility for his squad’s loss to Como on Sunday. He admitted his team didn’t play well in the second half of their 2-1 loss to Como, a defeat that denied them the top spot in Serie A.
Napoli, who had been unbeaten in 11 league matches are still second in the standings with 56 points from 26 games.
Conte expressed frustration over his team’s lack of fight, saying, “Losing because of hunger and aggression is unacceptable. We need to understand why this happened.” He also took responsibility, adding, “I am the first to blame because I didn’t transmit this mentality to the team.”
However, he has refused to blame the loss solely on his players.
