Chelsea were extremely lucky to have secured a win against Cardiff City at the weekend. The Blues found themselves 1-0 down heading into the closing stages of that game, but a stroke of luck helped them equalize with a goal that was clearly offside before sealing the win with yet another goal in the dying seconds of that game.
That win helped take some pressure of Maurizio Sarri whose team has been doing badly away from home for most of the season.
However, they have more often than not turned on the style when they play at Stamford Bridge and their fans would be hopeful that this turns out to be yet another win for them.
Brighton were very poor at the weekend and that led to them suffering a 1-0 home loss against Southampton. That was also the first time they had lost a game in 3 matches bringing to an end their two games winning streak.
This game offers them another chance to shock a big side as they have done often since they got promoted back to the Premier League but Chelsea may not allow them here.
