Chelsea target not interested in Premier League move

Chelsea’s plan to lure Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to the Premier League has been dealt a major blow after the Gabonese star’s latest admission.

Aubameyang is one of the most lethal strikers in world football at the moment and has continually attracted the attention of top European sides.

Borussia Dortmund put him up for sale last summer, but there was a surprising shortage of takers and he remained with the German Cup holders.

Chelsea are still interested in bringing him to the Premier League, but that would no longer be possible.

According to Sun Sport, Aubameyang claims he is not interested in moving to the EPL and that the English top flight has never been of interest to him.

Per the source, he claims it is a personal opinion and he has never been interested in playing in the Premier League.

This admission would be a major blow to the Blues who were planning to sign him next summer as they look to push for another Premier League title.

Aubameyang narrowly missed out on a move to PSG last summer, and it appears he favors a move to the French league where he played for Saint Etienne before.
