Chelsea are going ahead with plans to sign new star men for next season despite the future of their manager, Antonio Conte being unclear.
Conte won the Premier League for the Blues last season, but this season has been underwhelming for the Stamford Bridge outfit and they look set to miss out on Champions League qualification by the end of the season.
Although Conte may not remain as the club’s gaffer, Roman Abramovic has given the go-ahead for the club to start looking for new recruits, one of the players that could be moving to West London is Juventus Ghanian star, Kwadwo Asamoah.
According to Sun Sport, the soon to be free agent has rejected a new Juve deal and he is open to moving down to the Premier League. The report further claims that Chelsea are not the only team looking to sign him. They claim Inter Milan are currently leading the race for his signature and the Milan side are also ahead of others in the race for Lazio’s Stefa de Vrij.
Asamoah wants regular first team action and he knows he won’t be able to get that in Juve, with Emre Can also schedule to join them on a free transfer.
