Bournemouth join race to sign Theo Walcott

Theo Walcot is set to leave Arsenal this month as several teams continue to show interest in signing him. Sun Sport is reporting that Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth is the latest team to show interest in his signature. The 28 years old has been left frustrated by a lack of trust from Arsene Wenger this season, and he looks set to leave the Emirates after 12 years. His former team Southampton and Sam Allardyce’s Everton are the frontrunners for his signature at the moment. Arsenal are looking to make at least £20 million from his transfer as they look to bring in new players. Howe whose Bournemouth defeated the Gunners at the weekend has joined the race as he looks to help his Cherries avoid relegation. Arsenal and Bournemouth have a good relationship after Jack Wilshere spent last season on-loan at the Vitality Stadium, but the final decision on where his future would be lies in the hands of Walcot. The England international is hoping to go to this year’s World Cup in Russia and wants a guarantee of more playing time. A move to Southampton would be an emotional one for him as he left the Saints as a 16 years old teenager in 2006, but he would prefer to remain closer to London. Walcot is expected to decide which club he would move to before the end of this week.

Liverpool will sign Jan Oblak next summer

Liverpool are set to make a sensational move for Atletico Madrid shot-stopper, Jan Oblak next summer. The Reds goalkeepers have come under numerous criticisms for the past few seasons. Loris Karius was given the nod ahead of Simon Mignolet, but the German still failed to impress as he let in a cheap goal for the equalizer. Although Jurgen Klopp has continually backed his underfire goalkeepers, he is reportedly set to axe at least one of them this season. According to Sun Sport, Oblak has a £89 million release clause written into his current deal with Atletico, but the Reds would be looking to negotiate a more realistic figure. The 25 years old is one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in the world at the moment, and Liverpool faces major competition from PSG for his signature. The Slovenian who joined Atleti from Benfica in 2014 recently admitted that talks of a new deal has not started yet, and did not say if he is open to leaving the Wanda Metropolitana. Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has admitted that the Red’s goalkeepers are not good enough and believes they cannot win the Premier League with Simon Mignolet as their first choice.

Arsenal set to offer Olivier Giroud plus £30 million for Aubameyang

Arsenal are looking to complete the signing of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang this month. The Gunners are set to let Alexis Sanchez leave in the next couple of days with Chelsea and Manchester United looking to prize the Chilean away. Sanchez would likely join United for £30 million plus Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and the Gunners don’t want to waste time in replacing him. Aubameyang has just run into fresh problems with Dortmund and was left out of their team for their weekend’s match, with the club’s boss claiming “there is a limit to what they can tolerate.” Dortmund were among several teams who wanted to sign Giroud last summer, but the French man decided against leaving the Gunners. However, playing time have been very limited this season and he is keen on leaving to save his World Cup spot. Dortmund want £60 million for Aubameyang but his disciplinary problems mean any team trying to sign him would consider him a high-risk player. Arsene Wenger also wants Malcom from Bourdeaux, but his priority is Aubameyang, and if he gets the Gabonese attacker, he would abandon his pursuit of the Brazilian youngster.

Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs has been named as the new Wales boss. The former Premier League star has been looking for a role at a top club since he left Manchester United at the start of last season. He is one of four men interviewed by the Welsh FA and got the job ahead of former Liverpool star Craig Bellamy, Chris Coleman’s assistant Osian Roberts, and Mark Bowen formerly of West Ham. Arsenal want Anthony Martial as part of Alexis Sanchez deal

Arsenal are ready to sell Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United this month, but they want Anthony Martial in exchange. The Chilean attacker was left out of Arsenal’s team that faced Bournemouth at the weekend as Wenger confirmed his future would be sorted out in 48 hours. PepGuardiola had thought Sanchez’s preference was to move to the Etihad, but the promise of £350,000 per week from Manchester United has made the Chilean to consider their offer. Sanchez currently has under 6 months to run on his Gunners’ contract and the Londoners were thinking he would extend his deal with them. However, he has decided that his future is outside of north London and Arsenal are ready to sell. The Gunners could have made £60 million from his sale last summer as Manchester City were ready to offer that much on deadline day. Arsene Wenger would prefer to deal with Manchester United as the Red Devils are willing offer more cash (£35 million) , and a player in exchange. According to Sun Sport, the Red Devils are prepared to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but Wenger wants Anthony Martial instead as the French man is a more suitable replacement.

Arsenal target Arda Turan leaves Barcelona for Turkish giants

Arda Turan has joined Istanbul Basaksehir on-loan until 2020. The former Barcelona winger leaves the Catalans after two-and-half frustrating years at the Camp Nou. He failed to make a single appearance for Barca this season as it became clear that he was not in the plans of the new manager, Ernesto Valverde. The Turkish international has been an Arsenal target since his days at Atletico Madrid, but he decided to join Barcelona instead. As he struggled to make an impact at Camp Nou the Gunners were linked with a move for his signature again last summer, but nothing serious came of it. The arrival of Philippe Coutinho has pushed him further down the pecking order and this move was the best option for him. Philippe Coutinho was not given a shirt number at his unveiling because the numbers 1-24 was already given out by the Catalans. There were rumors that the former Liverpool man would inherit Mascherano’s number 14 when the Argentine leaves after this season. However, the transfer of Arda Turan means he would most likely take the number 7 the Turkish attacker had been occupying. Arda Turan’s loan deal would last for the duration of his Barcelona contract. It is unclear what percentage of his salary is being paid by his loan club, but Barcelona would be delighted that they have taken one big earner off their bloated wage bill.

Atletico Madrid join Chelsea in the race for Andrea Belotti

Chelsea face a major hurdle in their quest to sign Andrea Belotti from Torino. The Blues have targeted the Italian striker for the past two seasons, but they have been unable to convince the Turin based side to sell. Last summer Antonio Conte was desperate to sign Belotti as a replacement for Diego Costa, but Torino insisted that they would only discuss his transfer if the Blues triggered his £100 million release clause. Chelsea decided to sign Alvaro Morata. But the Spaniard has been below-par this season, and in a classic example of how terrible he can be, he missed three one-v-one chances against Arsenal. The Blues have plans to return for Belotti after this season, but they now face serious completion. According to Sun Sport, Atletico Madrid are hoping to sign Belotti as a replacement for Antoine Griezmann who is leaving the Wanda Metropolitana after this season. Belotti would not be at the World Cup in Russia after Italy failed to qualify, but he expects to move to a bigger club before the 2018/2019 season. Real Madrid are also interested in signing him, but they are currently hoping Benzema and Co. can start scoring goals sooner.

Manchester United sacrifice move for Griezmann to pay Alexis Sanchez £350,000 per week

Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit of the signature of Alexis Sanchez. The Red Devils are set to make the Chilean the highest paid footballer in England. Alexis Sanchez is on auction as Arsenal look to cash in on their prized asset this month. Sanchez had decided to join Manchester City after this season, where he stands to make about £70 million. However, Jose Mourinho wants to hijack the deal, and he is prepared to forget about signing Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann. The Red Devils have offered £30 million plus Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the Chilean and Arsenal seem to be more impressed by their offer. Manchester City are refusing to match United’s bid and they remain confident that Sanchez would prefer a move to the Etihad. Sanchez has been left out of Arsenal’s squad to play against Bournemouth this weekend as he looks to complete his move away. Jose Mourinho is confident that Sanchez would choose them. At the moment, the Chilean and his representatives are looking at both club’s offer, they would make a decision on where he is headed before Monday.

Real Madrid finalizing Neymar and Christiano Ronaldo Swap deal

Real Madrid are looking to conclude plans to sign Neymar from PSG in the summer of 2019. The Brazilian has been linked with a return to Spain from the early weeks of his move to PSG, but a move this early would be too disrespectful to PSG. According to Sun Sport, Real Madrid know that a move for Neymar would be complicated and they are ready to wait and make sure they get every detail right. Los Blancos are aware of PSG’s interest in Christiano Ronaldo and they are prepared to add the Portuguese star as a sweetener in the deal. Ronaldo has been asking for a new deal that would see him earn as much as Neymar, but Florentino Perez does not believe he is making as much contribution to the team this season as he has done before. Neymar would be 28 at the time of this deal and Real Madrid know his commercial pull would be high at that time. The Brazilian is reportedly disappointed at the poor level of the French football, and there were reports that he wants to play in only the matches with the biggest French teams. A move to Madrid would surely anger Barcelona fans, but Neymar is already unpopular following his acrimonious exit last summer.

Manchester United set to hijack Manchester City’s bid for this Brazilian star

After failing to hijack Manchester city’s bid to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, Jose Mourinho is looking to outmuscle their city rivals to the signature of another player again. The Red Devils have reportedly entered the race for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder, Fred according to Sun Sport. Mourinho is short of options in midfield and the unavailability of Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini, and Michael Carrick has affected his team so much this season. Fred is one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe this season, and his performance against Manchester City in the Champions League caught the eye of Pep Guardiola. Guardiola is lining up a summer move for him as a replacement for Fernandinho or Yaya Toure as one of them is set to leave after this season. Mourinho is unhappy that Carrick has not been able to make any contribution to his team this season after signing a one-year extension last summer. The Portuguese manager believes Fred has the pedigree to thrive in the Premier League, and his Champions League experience is an added advantage. A move this month could prove difficult, but the Red Devils can agree to a deal to sign him next summer.
