Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has begun wielding the axe on some of his players ahead of a break or make summer. The Portuguese tactician wants to win the Premier League next season and he has begun plans to get rid of any underperforming star on his team’s sheet and replace them with some of the best in the world. However, one surprising player may be among those to depart Old Trafford this season and that person is none other than Anthony Martial. Martial has found it hard to break into the Red Devils line up this season since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez. He is reported to have rejected a new Manchester United deal as he could not get assurances of more first-team engagement from Mourinho. According to Sun Sport, rather than assure him that he would get more chances, Mourinho informed the 22-year old that he can leave Old Trafford after this season and the French man may not struggle to get new employers. Per the reports, Juventus and Barcelona are prepared to battle out for his signature, while Bayern Munich also sees him as an ideal replacement for the ageing Franck Ribery.

Tottenham tell Manchester United they need to pay £40m plus this player to get Danny Rose next summer

Manchester United quest to land Danny Rose next summer has been made perhaps simpler as Tottenham have informed them about what they need to do to get their man. Jose Mourinho remains an admirer of Rose and the Portuguese manager is reportedly keen on making him a summer addition ahead next season as he has become fed up with his current left-back options. Mourinho has been openly critical of Luke Shaw this season and their relationship is said to have reached rock bottom after the defender squared up with the former Chelsea manager. Shaw had reportedly gone to Mourinho in search of clarification about his future before signing a new deal, the manager’s response is said to have convinced Shaw that he has no future at Old Trafford, he may have a way out. According to Sun Sport, Tottenham have told Manchester United that they can get Danny Rose if they offered them Luke Shaw plus £40m. The fee won’t be too much for the Red Devils, however, some of the club’s staff have reservations over Rose’s fitness as the England left-back have been sidelined repeatedly this season.

Real Madrid paid £15 million for his signature last summer, but Los Blancos would demand at least £35 million from his next employers. That won’t be too much money for Liverpool who are prepared to spend big next summer. Per reports, the Reds have already prepared a four years lucrative deal for the midfielder and they could announce his capture as soon as the transfer window reopens.

Real Madrid want Eden Hazard, but they would have to sell this star man first

After such a poor season with Chelsea with the Blues on the verge of not qualifying for the Champions League next season, Eden Hazard would be desperate to make his long-awaited dream move to Real Madrid at the end of this season. The La Liga and Champions League holders also want to bring the Belgian to the Bernabeu with Zinedine Zidane a known admirer, however, Los Merengues would have to sell Gareth Bale first. Left to Zidane alone, the Welsh winger would have been sold since last summer, but Bale is a favourite of club president, Florentino Perez and Zidane does not yet have enough credit to veto transfer decisions. According to Sun Sport, Bale also has no desire to walk away from his lucrative deal that runs until the summer of 2022 with Real Madrid even though he does not have the trust of his manager at the moment. Bale’s relationship with the French gaffer is said to have deteriorated so much that he could struggle to get near the first team next season if he does not leave the Spanish giants. Hazard has stalled on signing an improved deal at Stamford Bridge and that has been seen as an indication he is waiting for Madrid to come calling.

According to Sun Sport, Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola has been looking for a new club for his client and recently offered him to French moneybags PSG. The French champions are looking to win the UEFA Champions League sooner rather than later and they are prepared to spend on big-name stars to achieve that goal. However, any deal that would take Pogba out of United would cost the buying club at least 120 million pounds as the Red Devils would want to recoup as much of their 89 million pounds investment as possible. Liverpool legend, Steven Gerard has been targetted as a new manager of Championship side, Ipswich Town as the former Liverpool captain has been impressing in charge of the club’s Under 18s this season. Gerard was offered the managerial position at MK Dons last summer but rejected the offer claiming he was not ready for that level of management just yet. He has now spent this season studying under Jurgen Klopp and several teams are expected to want to prise him away from Liverpool at the end of the season. Ipswich Town managerial position became vacant last week after Mick McCarthy decided to walk away from the club early as he was expected to leave at the end of the season. The club’s owner, Marcus Edwards is taking his time before making a new managerial appointment, but he is said to have made contact with third parties over making Gerard the Tractor Boys manager next season. Gerard is expected to be ready for first team management soon, but it remains unclear if he would want to remain in Liverpool and continue learning or he would take the plunge into professional management after this season.

Kenedy signed from Fluminense in the summer of 2015, and many fans were hoping that he would become one of their star attackers, but he has ended up being used as a wing back or left back before being shipped out on-loan to Newcastle. He has since been used in an advanced role by Rafa Benitez and he has thrived. His performances has helped Newcastle to move from relegation struggles to the verge of finishing the season inside the top ten. PSG are looking for a replacement for Angel Di Maria, while Bayern Munich faces the prospect of losing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery who both have their current deals expiring at the end of this season.
