Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has begun wielding the axe on some of his players ahead of a break or make summer. The Portuguese tactician wants to win the Premier League next season and he has begun plans to get rid of any underperforming star on his team’s sheet and replace them with some of the best in the world. However, one surprising player may be among those to depart Old Trafford this season and that person is none other than Anthony Martial. Martial has found it hard to break into the Red Devils line up this season since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez. He is reported to have rejected a new Manchester United deal as he could not get assurances of more first-team engagement from Mourinho. According to Sun Sport, rather than assure him that he would get more chances, Mourinho informed the 22-year old that he can leave Old Trafford after this season and the French man may not struggle to get new employers. Per the reports, Juventus and Barcelona are prepared to battle out for his signature, while Bayern Munich also sees him as an ideal replacement for the ageing Franck Ribery.  

Manchester United quest to land Danny Rose next summer has been made perhaps simpler as Tottenham have informed them about what they need to do to get their man. Jose Mourinho remains an admirer of Rose and the Portuguese manager is reportedly keen on making him a summer addition ahead next season as he has become fed up with his current left-back options. Mourinho has been openly critical of Luke Shaw this season and their relationship is said to have reached rock bottom after the defender squared up with the former Chelsea manager. Shaw had reportedly gone to Mourinho in search of clarification about his future before signing a new deal, the manager’s response is said to have convinced Shaw that he has no future at Old Trafford, he may have a way out. According to Sun Sport, Tottenham have told Manchester United that they can get Danny Rose if they offered them Luke Shaw plus £40m. The fee won’t be too much for the Red Devils, however, some of the club’s staff have reservations over Rose’s fitness as the England left-back have been sidelined repeatedly this season.

Liverpool have begun the search for new stars that would help them win the Premier League next season, and their search for new talents have taken them Madrid, Spain. The Reds are set for a major overhaul this summer after losing Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window. With Emre Can also heading through the exit door on a free transfer, the Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp knows that Midfield is one area he would need to strengthen in the next transfer window. According to reports in the Italian media, Liverpool have identified out-of-favour Real Madrid youngster, Dani Cabellos as an ideal addition to their team. The 21 years old sign from Real Betis last summer after a stunning set of performances in the European Under 21 Championship. He was, however, not signed on the recommendation of Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane and he has since failed to force his way into the French man’s thinking. Cabellos is believed to have lost all hope of impressing Zidane and he now wants a move away from the Spanish capital. Real Madrid paid £15 million for his signature last summer, but Los Blancos would demand at least £35 million from his next employers. That won’t be too much money for Liverpool who are prepared to spend big next summer. Per reports, the Reds have already prepared a four years lucrative deal for the midfielder and they could announce his capture as soon as the transfer window reopens.

After such a poor season with Chelsea with the Blues on the verge of not qualifying for the Champions League next season, Eden Hazard would be desperate to make his long-awaited dream move to Real Madrid at the end of this season. The La Liga and Champions League holders also want to bring the Belgian to the Bernabeu with Zinedine Zidane a known admirer, however, Los Merengues would have to sell Gareth Bale first. Left to Zidane alone, the Welsh winger would have been sold since last summer, but Bale is a favourite of club president, Florentino Perez and Zidane does not yet have enough credit to veto transfer decisions. According to Sun Sport, Bale also has no desire to walk away from his lucrative deal that runs until the summer of 2022 with Real Madrid even though he does not have the trust of his manager at the moment. Bale’s relationship with the French gaffer is said to have deteriorated so much that he could struggle to get near the first team next season if he does not leave the Spanish giants. Hazard has stalled on signing an improved deal at Stamford Bridge and that has been seen as an indication he is waiting for Madrid to come calling.

Liverpool have been dealt a major blow in their bid to rebuild their squad with some quality additions next summer. After reaching the semifinal of this season’s Champions League, the Reds are expected to challenge for the Premier League title next season and Jurgen Klopp knows he needs world class players to achieve that feat. One player who seemingly has remained on the radar of the German manager has been AS Roma’s Alisson Becker. The Brazilian number one has been in stunning form this season and he is set to go through the Champions League without conceding a goal at home. His performances this season has attracted the interest of several top Europeans sides including Real Madrid and PSG, but Liverpool remains his major suitor despite the form of Loris Karius. However, AS Roma president has ruled out the sale of the shot-stopper after this season. He claimed: “We have no intention of selling him. “I mean zero at all. I’m sure some people will probably come in with some bids, but I don’t have any interest in selling him, he’s a great goalkeeper. “When we got him, I thought the same thing and as far as I’m concerned, I mean no.”, he added.

Pep Guardiola may have just won the English Premier League, but the Spaniard does not appear to be satisfied just yet as he has begun plotting for how to retain the title. Guardiola had the luxury of having some of the best players in the world at the moment in his Manchester City as they ran to the league title and won the Carabao Cup but he has decided to add yet more quality in his midfield as most of his midfielders are ageing. One player whom Guardiola desperately wants to bring to the Etihad is Bayern Munich’s Tiago Alcantara, but he faces competition from Manchester United. The Red Devils have made Alcantara a priority signing ahead of next season as they face losing at least two key midfielders. Guardiola has managed Alcantara twice in the past and maintains a good relationship with the 27 years old whom he took with him to Bayern Munich from Barcelona when he left the Catalans. He now wants to manage him for the third time. It is unclear at the moment if Alcantara would want to leave Bayern, but if he fails to win the Champions League again this season, he may move to the Premier League and test himself there.

Liverpool legend, Steven Gerard has been targetted as a new manager of Championship side, Ipswich Town as the former Liverpool captain has been impressing in charge of the club’s Under 18s this season. Gerard was offered the managerial position at MK Dons last summer but rejected the offer claiming he was not ready for that level of management just yet. He has now spent this season studying under Jurgen Klopp and several teams are expected to want to prise him away from Liverpool at the end of the season. Ipswich Town managerial position became vacant last week after Mick McCarthy decided to walk away from the club early as he was expected to leave at the end of the season. The club’s owner, Marcus Edwards is taking his time before making a new managerial appointment, but he is said to have made contact with third parties over making Gerard the Tractor Boys manager next season. Gerard is expected to be ready for first team management soon, but it remains unclear if he would want to remain in Liverpool and continue learning or he would take the plunge into professional management after this season.

Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino has begun planning for players that he hopes to add to his team next season, and the former Espanyol manager has taking his search to the La Liga. Pochettino is aware of the interest that several big teams have shown on his overperforming stars and faces a tough battle to keep most of them after this season. One player who made be playing for the Lillywhites for his final season is Mousa Dembele, the Belgian has reportedly stalled on signing a new deal. However, Spurs fans have no reason to be afraid as their gaffer has plans to replace him with Barcelona’s Euro 2016 winner, Andre Gomez. The Portuguese star has suffered from poor form this season and has only started 15 La Liga games, he has also been heavily criticized by the fans of the La Liga giants, but Poch believes he can help him revive his career. They face competition from West Ham, however, as the East Londoners see him as a good alternative to Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho whom they struggled to sign in the last transfer window.

Chelsea are about to lose one of their promising youngsters according to Sun Sport. The Blues are known to have some of the best youngsters in world football, but they have always struggled to get their best academy products through to the first team despite giving them huge contracts at young ages. Last season, they lost Dominic Solanke to Liverpool and the England Under-20 star has justified his decision to leave the Blues by playing in more than 15 games for the Reds this season. While Chelsea would like to keep hold of the remaining youngsters, the Blues face a tough task in convincing Brazilian youngster, Kenedy to remain with them after this season. Kenedy signed from Fluminense in the summer of 2015, and many fans were hoping that he would become one of their star attackers, but he has ended up being used as a wing back or left back before being shipped out on-loan to Newcastle. He has since been used in an advanced role by Rafa Benitez and he has thrived. His performances has helped Newcastle to move from relegation struggles to the verge of finishing the season inside the top ten. PSG are looking for a replacement for Angel Di Maria, while Bayern Munich faces the prospect of losing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery who both have their current deals expiring at the end of this season.
