Max Allegri and Jose Mourinho will clash in the game which is arguably the biggest in Serie A this weekend. Juventus has started the season poorly and Roma has dropped some points that their fans would have wanted them to win. This game will be between two underachieving sides and Roma will hope they can get something from it. Juve has moved into the top half of the league table because of a recent return to form. They have won their last three league games, and another win in this match will move them even closer to the top four. Roma has always been a tough nut to crack for the Bianconeri as their last three heads to heads have ended in just a win for the host. However, Juve has 11 wins from the last 12 times they have host Roma and would be confident of earning another in this match. Jose Mourinho has a solid record against Juve as he has just a defeat and four wins from seven meetings with them. Roma’s two defeats have come away from home and they now have to battle against another one in this game.

Juventus will look to get their first league win of the season when Milan comes to town for this league fixture. The Old Ladies have made a poor start to this campaign and they will be keen to start winning matches. They kick-started their league season with a surprising 2-2 draw at Udinese before back-to-back losses against Empoli and Napoli followed. However, they managed to get their first competitive win of the season when they defeated Malmo in the Champions League in midweek. The Swedes didn’t present as much opposition as they should expect from Milan in this match and they have to be better prepared for this game. Milan has started this season well as they did the last one, but they suffered some heartbreak when Liverpool beat them in the Champions League in midweek. That defeat to Liverpool was the first time they have failed to win a competitive game this season and they would be keen to get back to winning ways in this match. They have three wins from as many Serie A games before this fixture and their last victory came against Lazio in impressive fashion and they would look to beat another title rival here. Milan won 3-0 when they visited Juventus last season and they have won two of their last three heads to heads with the Old Ladies.

AC Milan and Lazio will face off in one of the most exciting matches in Serie A this weekend. Milan has started this season as they did the last one and head into this match with two wins from as many games. Lazio is top of the league with two wins as well, but Maurizio Sarri’s club has scored more goals than any other team in the division with nine strikes and they have conceded just two. Milan has just five goals, but they have continued to be hard to break down and have conceded just one goals in this campaign. Sarri is determined to make a statement with Lazio after nearly winning the league title at Napoli and also losing his job at Juventus despite winning the title for them. But Milan has been making good progress in recent seasons and have reached the Champions League group stages this season. They have also won their opening three league fixtures and would be determined not to lose when they visit Lazio in this match. Ciro Immobile has started this season in fine goalscoring form and he has 4 goals from the opening three league matches and would be determined to get one more in this match. Olivier Giroud has started the season well also and has two strikes for Milan, he might get one more in this match as well.

Juventus visits Napoli in search of their first league win of the season after two games without earning all the three points. The Old Ladies struggled last season and they only entered the Italian top four on the final day of the season. They had been struggling to add players to their squad during the transfer window and eventually sold Cristiano Ronaldo instead. The attacker scored 29 times in the league for them last season and he would be missed greatly. Yet they have only signed Moise Kean for their attack and that could see them struggle for goals in this campaign. Napoli has won their opening two league matches and would be boosted by the presence of Victor Osimhen and Piotr Zielinski for this game. The Nigerian striker missed their game against Genoa after being shown a red card in their first match of the season against Venezia. This game offers him the chance to score his first goal of the season after Napoli successfully appealed for his two-match ban to be cut in half. Zielinski was injured in the game against Venezia, but he has now recovered from the dead leg to feature in this match. Juve will also have the chance to unleash Kean in this game after his goalscoring time with the Italy national team.

Atalanta would be looking to build on their 3-0 win over Juventus in the Coppa Italia earlier in the year as they look to finish inside the Italian top four, while Juventus would be looking to recover from their 2-0 loss to AS Roma the last time with a win here. Atalanta have been impressive all season but come here having suffered a heartbreaking loss at the Coppa Italia final in their last competitive fixture. Their 2-0 loss to Lazio in that final was their first loss in six games, and it ended their five-match unbeaten streak. They know they have to win this game to keep their place in the top four as AS Roma and AC Milan are working hard to displace them. Juventus have wrapped up the Italian Scudetto long ago and that seems to have affected their consistency. They were beaten by Roma the last time by two late goals, while their previous two games against Inter and Torino ended in draws. The home side wants to celebrate their title win after this game and it is only fitting for them to win this game.

Juventus would be looking to further celebrate with their home fans when they take on city rivals Torino in this game. The Italian champions finally wrapped up the title with a 2-1 win over Fiorentina and having exited the Champions League, have nothing but pride to play for this season. Torino are the side who have something to play for this game and they come here in pretty good shape. The visitors defeated AC Milan 2-0 in their last league game and that was their second consecutive win and the 6th consecutive game they have played without being defeated. Torino are one of the sides jostling for the last Champions League place in Italy and they would be keen on taking advantage of the fact that Juve would be a little relaxed and win this game. Juventus haven’t been at their very best for much of this season but they have managed to get the results. However, now that they have already secured the league title, they could be a little relax and allow their city rivals to win. Juventus have an incredible record in this game having won 8 and drew 1 of the last 9 meetings between these sides.

Inter Milan would be looking to maintain their hold on the 3rd position in the Serie A table when they visit struggling Cagliari in this game. The Nerazurri seem to have been rocked by the Mauro Icardi saga on paper, but their performances on the pitch has not been really affected. They drew their last game 3-3, it was an unlucky outcome as they had already won it before a late goal by Jordan Veretout. That game was the first time they haven’t won  a game in 4 attempts and their fans would be hopeful that they can get back to winning ways here. Cagliari have just 5 points more than the teams in the relegation zone and come into this game on a poor run of form. They have lost four of their last five games and their only win in that period of time came in the form of a 2-1 win over Parma. They would be too ambitious to target a win here, but they can sit back and get a draw.

Milan would be looking to stop Juventus from getting their hands on their first of four possible trophies when they face each other in this Super Cup game. The Italian public is far from pleased that this game is not been played on home soil and the fact that it was shifted to January has also not placed the Italian FA in good light. However, these teams would care less and Cristiano Ronaldo would be looking to inspire Juve to win his first major trophy in Italian football. These teams both got their 2019 off to winning starts so they would both be confident of getting something out of this game. Milan were beaten 4-0 by Juventus in the Italian Cup final last season, but we don’t think this game would be as one sided as that one was. Juve have dominated the matches when these two teams meet recently as the Old Ladies come into this game on a run of 6 straight wins over Milan. Juventus have won both encounters with Milan this season, including a 3-1 win when the pair met in Turin back in March last year.

Torino would be looking to build on their new found form and get a result when they face Juventus in this tough derby game. The hosts come into this game on the back of 4 games unbeaten run that has seen them move into the the Italian top six as well as advance in the Coppa Italia, but this would be an entirely different task for them. Juventus are having a solid if unspectacular season in the Italian top flight, but their runs are continually getting interrupted in the Champions League. They were beaten  by Youngs Boys on Wednesday and they would be looking to swiftly get back to winning ways in this game. The Old Ladies have only dropped 2 points in the Serie A this season and they would be keen to keep their domestic form going and widen the gap between them and Napoli further with another win here.
