Chelsea attacker, Pedro has no plans to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond his current deal as he is desperate to make a quick return to the Camp Nou.
Spanish media outlet, Don Balon claims the Spaniard feels his contributions to Chelsea’s success as a team has been going unnoticed by his countries authorities and if he wants to be in their thinking when they are selecting national team players, he has to be closer to home.
Pedro joined Chelsea in the summer of 2015 after the Blues stole a march on Manchester United under the management of Jose Mourinho.
He helped them win the Premier League last season, but he has seen his role reduced this season.
His current deal expires in the summer of 2019 and he hopes to make a return to Barcelona on a free transfer at that time.
He would be 32 years old then and may also struggle to break into the Barcelona first team who are doing well at the moment.
Pedro has netted 6 goals and provided four assists this season and he is preparing to help the Blues knock Barcelona out of the Champions League when they face each other from Tuesday.
As Real Madrid prepare to make a move for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, the Spaniard has declared he is currently happy at Old Trafford.
De Gea came close to joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2015, but the deal fell through after some paper works were sent seconds after the close of the transfer window.
They have remained interested and with just under two years to run on his current deal, they are planning to make another attempt next summer.
However, de Gea has moved to assure fans of the club that he is happy to have been with them for the past seven seasons and remains committed to helping them achieving everything they can.
Speaking to Daily Star he claimed: “Time flies by so quickly.
I’ve been here seven years and I am happy.
“A lot has happened to me – some very good, some not so good, – but to be honest I am just really happy.
“I feel like an important player in the dressing room. I am one of the oldest in the team.
“It makes me happy to see the younger players coming through – and trying to make United big.”
He remains a huge part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for the new season and he has played in every single league game for them this season.
Arsenal are set to move for Manchester United defender Phil Jones as his Red Devils career continues to be shrouded in doubt.
The English defender has come under criticisms from Jose Mourinho this season and his own goal against Tottenham showed just how far off the pace he has become.
He was reportedly in a burst up with the Portuguese manager after their last game against Newcastle, and although Manchester United have denied that, he looks set to leave Old Trafford.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes believe they know where he is headed.
According to them, he is leaving the Europa League holders to move to Arsenal is on.

The duo has been two of the Serie A side’s top performers this season and they are set to help the Naples side to an unlikely league title.
One area that Wenger is keen on strengthening is his defence as his team continues to concede very soft goals.
They tried to sign Johnny Evans last month, but the Baggies decided not to allow him to leave for below what they value him.
Evans is no longer Wenger’s top target as the former Manchester United man is advancing in age, Koulibally is the player that the north Londoners are now serious about signing. Wenger hopes to make a move for him early in the summer.
Manchester United have entered the race to sign a Nice midfielder, Jean Michel Seri.

The Portuguese manager wanted to sign Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, but the Brazilian has decided to join their city rivals Manchester City instead.
He is now looking at his other targets.
According to Sun Sport, Mourinho has asked for reports about the performances of Seri. Seri has been one of the most outstanding midfielders in the French Ligue one over the past two seasons and he was very close to joining Barcelona last summer.
Per Sun Sport, he has a release clause of £33 million written into his current deal, that figure would not be too much for United to pay.

Arsenal have joined a host of European teams looking to sign RB Leipzig’s attacker Timo Werner.

Werner, according to the report has just rejected a new deal from Leipzig a statement that shows that he may be looking to move elsewhere after this season.
Arsenal are not the only team trying to sign him, with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid also interested.
However, Arsene Wenger is hoping the Gunners’ style of play and the lure of the city of London would tempt Werner to consider their offer.
Werner has scored 7 goals in 10 international games for Germany, and his suitors know that they may have to pay too much if he stars in the next World Cup, so they want to try and sign him now.
Liverpool have given up hopes of signing Emre Can to a new deal and the Reds have begun looking for his replacement.
The German has been a great player to the Reds since he joined them from Bayer Leverkusen in an £8 million deal in the summer of 2014.
His performances for Liverpool has seen him earn regular call-ups to the German national team and he is set to continue his development elsewhere.

He has lost his place in the Lilywhites line up mainly because of the form of Moussa Dembele and Eric Dier, but Mauricio Pochettino wants him to remian in his team.
Jurgen Klopp believes Wanyama can replace when he does leave, but he knows it would be very hard to get Tottenham to agree to sell the Kenyan.
Real Madrid have become the latest team to declare an interest in signing Tottenham’s Toby Alderwereild.
The Belgian is currently in a contract standoff with the north London side as they look to tie him down to a new long-term contract. he currently earns £50,000 per week, but he is looking to break their wage ceiling with a reported £115, 000 per week.
The Lilywhites know that they would have to start offering their players more money to keep the best of them, but they are not willing to make the defender their highest paid employee.
Chelsea and Manchester United have been monitoring negotiations, reports yesterday suggested that the Portuguese manager has demanded that the Red Devils sign the former Atletico Madrid man, however, Manchester United know it is difficult to sign players from Tottenham.
Sun Sport is reporting that Real Madrid have entered the race and they believe Tottenham would prefer to do business with them as they are not an English team.
