European champions Real Madrid have made contact with Eden Hazard after, Zinedine Zidane is given permission to sign the Belgian. Hazard has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, and Zinedine Zidane who is his long term admirer seem to be ready to land his man. However, the Spaniards have suffered a drop in form this season, and look set to refresh their squad. Hazard has recovered well from his injury to fire the Blues into the round of 16 in the Champions League. Interestingly, the Belgian has decided to delay signing a new Chelsea deal worth £300,000 per week, as he feels it could come in the way of his move to Spain. The Blues are unwilling to let their superstar go, and it would take a huge offer from Spain for them to change that stance.

Lionel Messi may go down in history as the ultimate one-club man after it was revealed that he rejected a mouthwatering offer from Manchester City to renew his Barcelona contract. The Sun is claiming that Manchester City were willing to pay Lionel Messi a signing on bonus of £89.1m to join them when his former Barcelona deal expired next summer. Manchester United have been offered a swap deal by Inter Milan that would see Joao Mario head to Old Trafford in exchange Juan Mata. Mata has less than a single year left on his current Manchester United contract, but like most of his team mates the Red Devils have the option of extending it by another year. Corriere dello Sport via Sun Sport is claiming that Juan Mata is wanted at the San Siro with the Nerazurri prepared to offer Joao Mario in exchange. Manchester United are also interested in Milinkovic Savic, of Lazio, but the player seem to prefer a move to Juventus at this stage.

At 27, Rose feels he is worth more than he is paid at the moment Tottenham, and voiced his displeasure earlier this season in an explosive interview with The Sun. According to Daily Mail, the Red Devils would bid £50 million for Rose.
