Manchester United outcast wants £5 million pay-off

Manchester United full back, Luke Shaw would be interested in leaving Old Trafford if they would offer him a £5 million pay-0ff. The injury prone full back has lost his first team position and has fallen down the perking order  in Jose Mourinho’s team. The Red Devils are said to be willing to cut their losses on the player whom they signed for then then record £30 million from Southampton. Several European sides are interested in Shaw, with Newcastle the keener of them. Rafael Benitez enquired about Shaw earlier in the season, however he was put off by the Red Devil’s £20 million demand although he may return for Shaw in the winter transfer window for a temporary deal. According to the Sun, Shaw who earns close £7 million per season, has told the club he wants £5 million severance pay to join another side who would not be able to offer him as much as he earns right now. Per the report, Manchester United are only willing to pay him £2 million. It remains to be seen if Jose Mourinho would reintegrate him into his first team plans, but the defender could be forced to make a temporary move next month.

German giants fire manager and replace him almost immediately

Borussia Dortmund have fired Peter Bosz and replaced him with former FC Cologne manager, Peter Stoger. The German side fired the former Ajax manager after their 2-1 loss to relegation battlers, Werder Bremen. His replacement, Stoger was let go of his job by FC Cologne on the 3rd of December after a poor run of results also. Stoger had joined FC Cologne in 2013 and led them to promotion to the German top flight in his first season. They also had a great season last year that saw them finish in the Europa League places, but this season hasn’t gone as planned and he was let go. He left Cologne with the team at he foot of the  Bundesliga table. Dortmund’s loss to bottom-of-the table Bremen was the eighth consecutive time they have failed to win in the league. Dortmund had previously gone 41 home games without a defeat, but after their home loss to Leipzig on October 8th, they have lost two and drawn one at home, the draw coming in the form of a 4-4 draw with bitter rivals Schalke 04. Bosz helped Dortmund achieve the best start to a Bundesliga season, with 6 wins and one draw in their first seven games.

Chelsea set to land £15 million Russian star

Chelsea could be landing their next Russian star next winter thanks to their owner’s desire to land Aleksandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow. The 21 years old has been capped 15 times by his country already and looks set to be the break out Russian star in next year’s world cup. Roman Abramovich believes the player’s valuation could sky-rocket after the competition and wants to secure his signature sooner. He is reportedly ready to offer £15 million for the CSKA Moscow central midfielder. Despite his age, Golovin is not short on experience. He is a regular for his club and played in all CSKA’s Champions League games this season. Although he has featured further forward, he has been used mainly as a central midfielder, and he has three goals and two assists in 16 Russian league games. Arsenal are also admirers of the Russian, but it is unclear if Wenger would want to fight with the Blues for his signature. If he does sign for the Blues, Antonio Conte would have to decide if he would add him to his first team roaster on send him out on loan.

Welsh star reach agreement to leave Real Madrid for Premier League next season

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has moved closer to a sensational return to the Premier League next season, after reportedly reaching an agreement with Real Madrid. Bale’s time in Madrid has been hampered by consistent injuries and Los Blancos look to have given up on him. The winger is high on Jose Mourinho’s transfer list and may join the Red Devils as early as January, if they can meet Real Madrid’s asking price. According to reports in the Spanish media, Bale whose season has been disrupted by injury again has reach an agreement with Real Madrid to leave the Spanish capital next summer. Per the reports, Bale and his agent Jonathan Barnett met with Florentino Perez last week and agreed he can leave next summer. Perez would like to get at least 70% of the world record fee he paid for Bale in 2013. Manchester United and his former club Tottenham are the only two teams who have declared interest in him so far, but his transfer fee may prove to be too much for Spurs. Bale has played only ten games for Real Madrid this season.

Premier League side eye audacious £60 million move for Bundesliga goal king

Everton are planning a stunning move to bring Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to the Premier League. The Toffees spent £140 million on transfers last summer, but new manager Sam Allardyce claims they still need fire power. Despite Everton’s splurge in the transfer market under their former manager Ronald Koeman, the Blue half of Merseyside have struggled this season, and had to fire the Dutch man after a 5-2 loss to Arsenal left them inside the relegation zone. Aubameyang is reportedly being shopped around by Borussia Dortmund after his indisciplined tendencies caught up with him again this season. According to The Mirror, Everton hierarchy are ready to splash £60 million for the 28 years old when the transfer window reopens, and they believe he can fire them into Europe. Oumar Niasse who was exiled by former manager Ronald Koeman last season is the Toffees top attacker this season having netted 6 goals in 9 games.

Chelsea’s number one could leave Stamford Bridge for personal reasons

There is so much anxiety at Stamford Bridge over the future of Blues number Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian has just 18 months left in his current deal with Chelsea and talks off a new deal has been placed on hold until next summer, as the Blues failed to match his £200,000 per week demand. While Chelsea are considering whether to give in to his contract demands, it seem as if they might not be able to keep him anyway as he considers a move to Spain that would get him closer to his family. The Belgian married his former wife, Marta Dominguez during his time on loan at Atletico Madrid, but the pair separated April this year and Dominguez stays with their kids in Madrid. While Courtois is committed to the Blues whom he signed for in 2011, he seem to have had his head turned by the interest of Real Madrid because of his family situation. The busy nature of his job as a Premier League star means he spends very little time with his family, and he has admitted to this being a major problem for him.

Liverpool attacker heading to Spain as La Liga side ponders move to sign him

Out of favour Liverpool attacker, Daniel Sturridge could finish the current league season in the La Liga, with Real Betis reportedly interested in signing him. The 28 years old has fallen further down the perking order this season as the Reds’ Fab Four of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Mo. Salah have been firing from all cylinders. Their form has seen the England man starting just five games this season and coming off the bench a further nine times, and he has netted just three goals all season. Sturridge wants to play at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, but Gareth Southgate has said he would only consider players who featured regularly for their clubs, making the attacker seriously considering a move away from Anfield. Reports from Spain is claiming that Real Betis are keen on Sturridge, and the recent injury to their star man Antonio Sanabria has made their move for Sturridge now imperative. Sanabria will be missed greatly after a solid start to the season that saw him net the winner against Real Madrid. However, his recent injury needed a surgery which means he would spend a long time on the sidelines. Sturridge would love the Reds to consider their approach even if it means him spending just the next six months there.

Lionel Messi will retire from international football next summer if Argentina have a poor world cup

Lionel Messi’s international career could be over if the Argentinian national team fail to shine in next year’s world cup in Russia. Messi retired from international football last year after their Copa America final loss to Chile, but made a U-turn on his decision. However, according to the man himself, if they fail to impress in next summer’s world cup in Russia he could say his final good bye to national team selection. According to Tyc sports, Messi thinks himself and some other star players of the Argentine national team should leave the scene if next summer’s world Cup ends disastrously for them again. Whether Messi retires next summer or not however his team mate Javier Mascherano would definitely be leaving the international scene after the football show piece, and the Barcelona man could also leave the Catalans after been overlooked a number of times this season. Speaking about his compatriot, Messi said he has had a discussion with the defender about his future, but he would not disclose what they discussed. He however claims he would understand if Mascherano leaves Barcelona. Argentina would face off with Nigeria, Iceland, and Croatia in group D of the world cup next year.

Brighton vs Crystal Palace set to become first competitive English game to use VAR

Video Assistant Referee would be use to overturn refereeing decisions for the first in England in the FA Cup game between Brighton and Crystal Palace. The English FA had longed announce their decision to use video technology in the FA Cup this season, and initially considered using it in the Liverpool vs Everton tie. But the Merseyside derby was deemed too high profile for the trial to take place. The FA made the announcements in March, and would be used first in the FA Cup third round tie between 5th and 8th January, and it would be used only in the Televised games played on Premier League grounds. The International Football Association Board has laid down protocol under which a match changing decision can be overturned through video review. per the protocol, only cases of “direct red cards, penalty or no penalty, awarding goals,  and when the identity of a culprit is mistaken can necessitate a decision to be overturned. The reason why the trial is being restricted to only televised games in Premier League grounds, is because they have the necessary infrastructure to aid the administration of the technology. Liverpool vs. Everton, and Brighton vs Palace are the only two games that meet this criteria.

French giants ready to fire their manager and name former Barcelona boss

PSG are on the verge of giving their manager, Unai Emery the sack after a series of poor results recently. The Spaniard was made manager of the Ligue 1 leaders last season primarily to help bring the elusive European glory to the Paris, but he has failed to do that in his single full season in charge, and two defeats in as many games has left them exposed also this season. Neymar and Co. lost their last league game 2-1 to newly promoted Strasbourg over the weekend, and then fell to another 3-1 defeat at Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday. Reports from France is claiming that their 3-1 loss infuriated the club’s president and he does not believe Emery can bring the European trophy he signed him to bring. Per the reports, the club has already drawn up a list of candidates that could replace him. Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique head the list which includes, Atleti’s Diego Simeone, Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho. But the French publication puts Enrique as favourites as the former Barcelona manager is currently free. Enrique won five trophies in his first two seasons with Barcelona, before masterminding a shock comeback win against PSG last season.
