This game is one that the fans of Manchester City have been waiting for a long time now as they could potentially win the Premier League title with a win here. Their 3-0 loss to Liverpool on Wednesday would have affected their confidence and Pep Guardiola would have his mind on reversing that scoreline on Tuesday that may see a much-changed line up here. They have lost just once all season and have 7 wins from their last 8 Premier League games, they have won all but one of their last 15 home games, beating the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal. Manchester United would be looking to delay Manchester City’s title celebration in this game. They are currently 2nd on the league table with a huge 16 points gap between them and they are just two points ahead of Liverpool who are 3rd. Their 2-0 win over Swansea made it 4 wins on the bounce for them in the Premier League. They have, however, struggled away to the top sides having been beaten at both Spurs and Chelsea while drawing at Liverpool.

Despite the fact that they are not currently in a relegation scrap and the fact that they would survive tthat this season, Everton’s form has not been very great recently. The Toffees recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since December prior to last weekend, but they could not continue that good run of form at home against champions-elect, Manchester City the last and they fell to yet another defeat. That was their 8th time they were losing a match in their last 13 games in all competition with only 4 of those games ending in wins. Almost all of their wins and draws from that time have come against teams below them on the league table and they have won only one and lost 6 games against teams above them on the league table. Liverpool may have been eliminated early from all domestic cup competitions this season, but they still have the chance to win a competition as they are still in contention for the Champions League and their performance against Manchester City on Wednesday would have boosted their morale ahead of this game. Mohamed Salah’s injury was the only negative in that game against the Cityzens as he seemed to have picked up a groin injury, however, Liverpool do not lack talent in the attack and Jurgen Klopp may even decide to switch things around a little here to keep his star men fresh for the game at the Etihad on Tuesday. The Reds have 8 wins from their last 12 games, and 3 or more goals have been scored in 9 of those games.

Despite being European debutants, RB Leipzig are having a good campaign in the continent and they seem as though they can go all the way to the final of this season’s Europa League game. Although they are not very loved in Germany, they have gathered some support around the globe for their style of play and talented players. They battled to a 3-2 win over Hannover at the weekend to leave themselves 4th on the Bundesliga table and unbeaten in their last 6  competitive games. They exited the Champions League at the group stage, but they have managed to eliminate Napoli and Zenith Saint Petersburg in the Europa League to get here. Marseille were runners-up in their Europa League group and they have followed that up by eliminating Braga (3-1) and securing a 5-2 aggregate win over Athletic Bilbao to get to this stage. Their 3-1 win over Dijon at the weekend was their 4th win in their last 5 domestic games, but they have been struggling shut out teams, with no clean sheets since mid-February. With these two teams struggling to keep clean sheets, these game could see a lot of goals scored by both teams.
