Barcelona flop, Malcom could be on his way to the Premier in the next transfer window as he continues to remain in the wilderness at Barcelona.
The Brazilian joined Barca from Bourdeaux last summer in a twisted transfer saga after the Spaniard’s spectacularly hijacked his move to AS Roma at the last minute, however, he seems not to have been bought after consultation from Valverde and the Spanish manager has no place for him in his current team.
Tottenham who made no signings last summer are preparing to make some additions to their team in the next transfer window as they look to ensure that they don’t fall off the pace with their fellow title contenders.
Sun Sport reveals that the Lilywhites have been told that they would have to pay more than the £37 million Barcelona paid to sign him last summer. Per the reports, the Lilywhites are ready to splash the cash and Pochettino has given the go-ahead for a £50 million bid for the 21 years old.
If he does move to the Premier League he would become yet another exciting Brazilian to join the English top flight after the likes of Lucas Moura, Bernard, and Richarlison.
Manchester City are on the verge of losing another of their promising youngster as he reaches the final few months of his current contract.
The Cityzens lost Jordan Sancho last summer after he decided to try his luck in Germany with Borussia Dortmund rather than remain on the periphery of Pep Guardiola’s squad. His bold gamble has paid off and he has become an important first team member of Dortmund this season.
Another promising youngster who has been impressing for the Cityzen’s youth teams is Phil Foden and the England teenager seems to be considering a move abroad of his own.
Foden has played less than 50 minutes of Premier League football despite always impressing, and several top European sides have begun to consider moving for him.
According to Sun Sports, Juventus are leading the race for the talented midfielder. He has just under a year left on his current deal, and moving to the Old Ladies without signing a new contract could see the Italians pay just £175,000.
Manchester City are desperate to keep hold of him, but he would have to decide if he wants to go somewhere else so he can play or if he wants to remain a reserve team player at Manchester City.

These two rivals go head to head as they look to determine who would finish the season as the top team in the Western Conference, so we expect a lot of fireworks on display in this game.
Sporting KC are currently top of the Western Conference after securing a 3-0 win last weekend. LA FC on their part played out a 2-2 home draw against Vancouver Whitecaps, so they would be looking for all three points here so they can finish ahead of their rivals.
With ten goals each in the league this season Russell and Salloi joint top score for Sporting KC, and the duo are going to need to remain fit and in form if Sporting KC are to progress and possibly win the playoffs. With thirteen goals in his debut season in the MLS Carlos Vela has lead from the front for LAFC, but teammates Diomande and Rossi are just a goal behind the Mexican and could still claim the crown of the clubs top scorer on Sunday.
Both teams have only lost one of their last six matches, and have each drawn two of their last six in the MLS. LAFC haven’t failed to score in any of their last six matches, while Sporting KC have only failed to score in one of their last six and that’s why we’re expecting both teams to score on Sunday.
LA Galaxy have done well to keep their hopes of making the playoffs alive by beating Minnesota United in their last game. As they head into this final game of the season, they know that a draw would be more than enough to help them finish inside the top six, and a Houston Dynamo side who has nothing to play for should be the perfect opponent.
They won their last game 3-1 thanks to a goal and an assist from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede has rolled back the years to score a whopping 22 goals in the MLS this season, with the backing of his teammates, they look poised to challenge for the MLS title at the playoffs.
Houston Dynamo has won this season’s US Open Cup and even though they are not in contention for a place in the playoffs, their fans would feel that this is a successful season.
even with just one league position to play for Houston Dynamo gave Seattle Sounders a good game when the pair met in Texas last weekend. Marshall scored in the twenty-sixth minute to hand Seattle Sounders the lead at halftime, and four minutes after the restart Svensson added a second goal for the visitors.
The comeback appeared to be on when Garcia halved the deficit for Houston Dynamo, but despite pushing forward in search of an equaliser it was Seattle than struck next through Ruidíaz to wrap up all three points. Manotas did manage to pull another goal back for the hosts in the eighty-ninth minute, but there wasn’t enough time left in the match for Houston to rescue a draw.
These two sides have met thirty times before, and with 13 wins, 7 draws, and 10 defeats its LA Galaxy that lead the head to head record.
This would be the first time in a long time that El Classico would be held without any of Cristiano or Lionel Messi being involved, and it would be interesting to see who takes centre stage in this game between arguably the world’s biggest rivals.
Despite the absence of the two biggest stars to have graced this occasion, there is a lot at stake in this game, especially for Real Madrid. Their manager is on the brink of getting the sack and another defeat in this game will see them lose further ground on Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table.
Barcelona performed well in their first game without Lionel Messi when they beat Inter Milan 2-0 in midweek, meanwhile, Real Madrid struggled to overcome Czech minors, Viktoria Plzen in a 2-1 win. That win ended a run of four losses from five games, but this game may have come too early for their confidence.
Real Madrid no doubt have a good record on this ground recently, but their current form makes it hard to see them getting anything out of this game.
The sides met 4 times last season with Real Madrid easy 5-1 aggregate winners in the Spanish Super Cup, however Barca took 4 points off Los Blancos in La Liga. Real did get a point at Camp Nou though and they have avoided defeat on their last 3 league visits to Barcelona. Indeed none of the last 6 league clasicos have resulted in home wins.
Liverpool set the bar so high with their high energy attacking football last season and several fans and observers were expecting them to build on that this season, but it hasn’t been the same story, at least not yet. However, what they lack in sharp attacking football they have been making up for it with solid defensive displays.
The Reds beat Red Star Belgrade 4-0 in midweek to keep themselves in the running for the Champions League next round. They have now won their last two games after a tough run of games that saw them fail to win any of four games, although those were fixtures against the likes of Napoli, Chelsea (twice), and Manchester City.
Liverpool have won 7 of their 9 league games this season and they have only dropped points against Manchester City and Chelsea who are fellow title contenders. They have impressively conceded just 3 goals in the league so far and many would think that their new-found defensive stability might just help them win a trophy this season.
Cardiff City received a confidence booster last weekend as they secured their first win of the season after beating fellow newly promoted side, Fulham 4-2. However, this game would be a different ball game for the Welsh side who had lost 5 league games on the trot prior to last weekend’s win.
To make matters worse, they have not scored a goal in 3 of their last 4 away days in the Premier League and they face a Liverpool team that hasn’t conceded a goal at home in the league since February.
Borussia Dortmund have lived under the shadows of Bayern Munich over the past few years, but this year looks quite promising as their young team seem to be thriving in every area of the field. They named former Nice boss, Lucien Favre as their new head coach and he has started as brightly as Peter Bosz started last season, their fans would hope that it lasts longer this time.
BVB have not lost a competitive game this season. They have won six of their 8 league games so far with the other two ending in draws. Paco Alcacer has barely played 2 hours of football for Borussia Dortmund since he joined them on loan, yet he has netted 7 times. Dortmund have scored 19 goals in their last four league games, and Hertha Berlin would have their hands full when they take to the field for this game.
Despite their form, Dortmund would be worried about Berlin. The Berliners became the first team to beat Bayern Munich a few weeks ago, however, the two games they have played after that win have ended in stalemates against less illustrious opponents. But the visitors are in no bad form as they have already amassed 15 points from 8 league games this season, which represents their best start to a league campaign.
Hertha Berlin drew 1-1 at home to Borussia Dortmund when the two sides last met in January. Dortmund have lost just one of their last nine competitive matches against Hertha (W4 D4 L1).
