West Ham rejected Manchester United’s £100m bid for Rice last summer

Manchester United reportedly made a £100 million ($120m) bid for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice last summer but were rebuffed as West Ham wanted more for the player. Last summer, the Old Trafford side were in desperate need of a combative, ball-carrying midfielder and saw Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong as the perfect player. But when their move for the Netherlands player stalled, the Red Devil approached West Ham for Rice. However, the London club were not satisfied with their  £100m bid and were holding out for £120m ($144m), plus add-ons. Arsenal in pole position to sign Lazio Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Current Premier League leaders Arsenal are in the lead to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic should he leave Lazio this summer. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serbian midfielder has made an ‘irreversible decision’ to leave the club this summer or when his contract ends in June 2024.  The player was in demand last summer, but Lazio demanded up to £100m for him. But with his contract up in a year and a half, the Serie A side might be forced to sell him for half that amount should Arsenal come calling in July.
