Fulham has won five and lost three of the eight home league matches this term, and they will be hosting Burnely with one of the worst road records in the division, claiming just five points from their eight matches on the road. Burnley has a road league victory this campaign, winning Luton Town 2-1 at the beginning of October, but they have gotten only one point from their last five on travels, and it shows that it will be a tough fight for the club to stay in the top division for 2024-25. MatchPlug Prediction For Fulham VS Burnley Burnley has the capacity to make this match a very uncomfortable one for Fulham, and analysts expect the guests to get their mane on the scoresheet. Fulham have played well at home in the EPL this season, and experts back them to take another three points tomorrow. Final Prediction: Fulham Moneyline.

By delivering four past a tired Newcastle United in their last home fixture, the hosts have now scored in all of their last 17 Premier League games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and have also delivered in 29 successive top-flight matches, the longest current run in the division. Betting On Everton 1XBet Spread: +1.5 1XBet Over/Under: Under 2.5 1XBet Moneyline: 4.265 BetMGM Spread: – BetMGM Over/Under: Under 3.5 BetMGM Moneyline: 3.90 Everton has proven itself to be adept in front of goal over the last few weeks, and they travel to North London with an uncertain 100% record point-wise and clean sheet-wise, after four EPL matches in Decemeber so far. The Toffees came up trumps at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as recently as September 2020, albeit in the absence of fans in the era of COVID-19, and the team has put together a five-game unbeaten run against the Toffees, winning both of their last home fixtures by an aggregate score of 7-0. MatchPlug Prediction For Tottenham VS Everton Getting another double dose of suspension woes was not on Hotspurs’ Christmas wishlist, but Tottenham is as sharp as ever and should exploit Everton’s tired legs on Saturday. For Everton, their tiredness has been a spectacle, and the team won’t be defeated in North London by any stretch, but a fifth victory on the trot is definitely a bridge too far. Final Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur.

Barcelona president Laporta: ‘We want to sign Gavi replacement’

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has announced plans to acquire a midfielder in January.  Laporta disclosed that they are looking for an ‘Edgar Davids-type signing to cover Gavi after his knee injury.  When speaking to EFE, he said: “If we manage to have ‘fair play,’ the idea is to have a midfielder who in some way compensates for Gavi’s loss. It would be a loan until the end of the season, like many years ago we did with Edgar Davids, for example. “We have margin, I think that until the end of the year, we can generate ‘fair play’, due to a series of operations that we have underway and if they are confirmed, we would have options. “If we meet the budget, which is very ambitious, we could go to the market with the guarantees of carrying out operations that do not involve personal guarantees from the directors and it would be a matter of being able to sign normally.” Related La Liga News: La Liga boss Tebas: Real Madrid TV a problem.

Inter Milan’s coach Simone Inzaghi knows that his club faces a major Champions League test against Atletico Madrid. Inter and Atletico will meet in the round of 16 after today’s draw.  Inzaghi stated: “It will be a great round of 16, with two top-level teams in two beautiful stadiums that will have a great audience. We are happy because we continue to face such important games in Europe with continuity. “They have played two finals in the last ten years and have a great tradition in this competition, our club is no different and we want to try to dream again to give another joy to our fans. “The Atletico coach, among other things, is Diego Simeone, a great coach with whom I have an excellent relationship. I won a lot with him, including a Scudetto with Lazio. Now let’s focus on next month: we will play important matches in the championship and we will also have the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup. “Then we will think about preparing these two big matches: they will be two battles, we will work to be ready.” Related News: AC Milan chief executive Furlani happy with Rennes draw.

Lazio defender Patric: ‘Facing Bayern Munich every child’s dream’

Lazio defender Patric has admitted that Bayern Munich is a huge challenge. Lazio played Bayern in February in the Champions League round of 16.   Spaniard Patric stated: “A target for 2023? Last year we had a great championship. Unfortunately, the current one didn’t start well but we still reached a fundamental goal like the Champions League round of 16. “Playing against Bayern Munich is every child’s dream. For us and the fans, it will be an important match. In Serie A we are not doing well but now I am sure that by playing fewer close matches we will be able to recover. I have so much faith in this team. “On a personal level, I am happy to be able to give my contribution to Lazio and I hope to remain with the Biancoceleste for many years. In life, the most important things are health, humility and family and Christmas is special because it always offers the opportunity to be together.” Related Bundesliga News: Bayern Munich chief Freund talks Palhinha and Sane plan.

arsenal must respect porto to win champions league

Arsenal must respect FC Porto to keep Champions League dream alive

Arsenal is set to face FC Porto in the Champions League Round of 16. According to the Gunners’ sporting director, Edu Gaspar, they must be prepared before playing against the Portugese giants. Edu said the following things about the Champions League Round of 16 draw at the UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. “We are going to play against a club that is very used to playing in the competition because they play in it every single year and they have a lot of players as well with big experience,” said Edu via Arsenal.com. “We have to understand how we are going to play and respect them as much as we can. We will play our game and see if we can go through this stage. We can see how they are playing, how organised they are, and the players that they have. “Porto is a club that you have to be really prepared to play against or we’ll have problems, so what we have to concentrate on is maintaining our levels and the way we are playing.” Arsenal took the lead for the Champions League group stages, unperturbed by their inexperience. In six games, they won four times, drew one, and lost one. They only got a spot in the Round of 16 by Match Day 5, amassing 12 points, which shows that despite their performance on Match Day 6 (they drew with PSV), they would win Group B. So, can the Gunners win the Champions League over FC Porto? They might, and Mikel Arterta said that after the 1-1 draw with PSV on Match Day 6, his sights has been on the Champions League crown. Porto is just one hurdle in that race.  “What I’ve seen is that we can compete at this level, and we came top of the group, which is very important. Especially the way we did it with a game in hand. We have to win game by game, and we arrive again in February,” Arteta replied, when asked if he had seen enough for Arsenal to win the Champions League. letellier family attacked in burglary

PSG’s goalkeeper Letellier, family attacked in burglary

Four burglars attacked Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier early Tuesday, threatening him and his wife, police and prosecutors announce.  They hit the wife of Letellier, who is a substitute goalkeeper at PSG in the face and demanded jewellery and money while threatening the couple with a knife, according to a police source. Alexandre’s two young children were at home during the robbery. The alarm in Letellier’s residence situated in Hardicourt, west of Paris, went off at 2:00 am (0100 GMT) and the couple tried contacting the police by telephone. “The alarm worked perfectly well and police intervened quickly as did the club’s security service,” a source close to the case said. According to prosecutors, three of the four burglars were arrested. Two of the members are minors.  Famous footballers have been robbed by burglars several times in recent years. In July, PSG goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma suffered a slight injury during a burglary, with stolen goods estimated at 500,000 euros ($550,000). “Unfortunately all big club are targets for this kind of attacks,” said a source close to PSG who declined to be named, adding: “Each and every criminal who ever attacked PSG players has been apprehended.” Related Ligue 1 News: Monaco players on Man Utd radar.

Xhaka: ‘My bags were packed but Arteta convinced me to stay with Arsenal’

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka admits that the only reason he stayed with Arsenal was because of manager Mikel Arteta. Xhaka said his scuffle with fans had him keep on foot out of Arsenal before Arteta intervened. “The club didn’t show me much respect, even though I was captain,” he recalled to the Athletic. “It was clear they wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. There was one exception. Mikel Arteta. “When I first met him, my bags were already packed and I was ready to jump on the plane. “My heart and soul had already left the club. I told him ) that the solution was for me to slip away. But Mikel said he wanted me to stay. “I couldn’t imagine playing for Arsenal again. “I told him I just want to be somewhere where the fans don’t boo me. But he was very persuasive. “For the first time in my life, I made a decision without talking to my family first. “I stood up and said that I will stay. From that day I returned to training and we behaved as if nothing had happened.” Related Premier League News: Liverpool returns to Fluminense but not for Andre.

La Liga boss Tebas: Real Madrid TV a problem

La Liga president Javier Tebas has lashed out at Real Madrid TV. Real Madrid’s TV channel released footage of referee Jorge Figueroa Vazquez warning Jude Bellingham during their victory against Villareal: “Be careful with me’’. In reaction, Tebas said at the AS awards last night: “I saw Real Madrid’s TV show on the referees. I don’t think there is any campaign against Bellingham or Vinicius at the refereeing level. “Very dangerous stories for football are constructed on Real Madrid TV. “The referees are not very precise and they need to improve, I’ve been saying this for a long time and Real Madrid didn’t support me. The words of the match director? If it’s that clear, it must have at least one alarm bell. “ Related La Liga News: Ancelotti gives advice to Real Madrid about Kepa.
