Diontae Johnson suspended for one match for refusing to enter Ravens Week 13 loss to Eagles
The Baltimore Ravens have suspended wide receiver Diontae Johnson for one game on Wednesday for a behaviour deemed detrimental to the team. It was Johnson “refusing to enter our game against the Philadelphia Eagles” on Sunday. Johnson will now miss the Ravens’ Week 15 match against the New York Giants following the upcoming bye week. Wednesday’s suspension explains why he was missing from Baltimore’s defeat in Philadelphia where he recorded no snaps. “We have made the difficult decision to suspend Diontae Johnson for our upcoming game against the New York Giants for conduct detrimental to the team,” Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said in a statement on Wednesday. “We will have no further comments on this matter going forward.”
