Miro Heiskanen might not be ready to return to the Dallas Stars at the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, coach Pete DeBoer said on Tuesday. Heiskanen underwent surgery on February 4, with a recovery timeline of 3-4 months. This season, he has recorded 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) in 50 games, averaging a team-leading 25:10 of ice time. “That’s a realistic possibility,” DeBoer replied when asked if the Dallas Stars may have to advance to the Western Conference Second Round before Heiskanen could return.
