Predictions, Odds, and Betting Preview for Charlotte Hornets VS the New York Knicks  December 10, 2022, Regular Season Game Venue: Spectrum Centre, Charlotte, North Carolina Date: December 10, 2022 Time: 1:00 PM Teams to play – Charlotte Hornets VS New York Knicks NBA Picks: SPREAD -4.5 Prediction: New York Knicks Spread Betting on the New York Knicks Regular Season Record: 12-13 1XBet Odds: 1.61 BetMGM Spread: -4.5 BetMGM Moneyline: 1.55 BetMGM Over/Under: Over 224.5 The New York Knicks have been inconsistent this season, winning only two out of their last 5 games. They haven’t won more than three games in a row, and after doing that, they dropped three straight. The Knicks have had quite an unusual season.  Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle have been the ones carrying the team. In their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers where they won 92-81, Brunson contributed 23 points and 4 assists, In their 121-100 loss to Dallas, Randle scored 24 points and 3 assists. Although these numbers aren’t the highest, they are the best ones the Knicks have got. For matches played on the road, the Knicks aren’t also doing well. They have a total of 8 losses and 3 wins. They struggle to succeed in games played outside of New York. On November 30th, they defeated the Detroit Pistons 140-110 in Detroit, which is their most recent victory in an away match. However, the Pistons aren’t a tough opponent for any team in the NBA, so we can’t measure the Knicks’ strength with this match. Betting On Charlotte Hornets Season record: 7-18 1XBet Odds: 2.54 BetMGM Spread: +4.5 BetMGM Moneyline: 2.50 BetMGM Over/Under: Under 224.5 The Hornets are gradually healing after a streak of 8 losses in a row. Out of their last 10 games, they won 4; this might not be a good number but it is tangible. They have suffered 2 losses so far at home, which is a bad omen for today’s game with the Knicks. Kelly Oubre and Terry Rozier are the Hornets’ most vital players. Terry secured 26 points in their 105 – 96 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, and Oubre Jr. scored 28 points in their 119-117 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers. Charlotte Hornets aren’t strong at home; they are 4-8 and have already lost two games in a row in front of their home crowd. They must win this game with the Knicks if they want to stay close to the Bulls; they are two games behind them and keep their chances of advancing to the Play-In tournament. Player Injuries And Absences These players won’t be present or likely absent during the game tonight, on both sides of the court due to injury. Injured Hornets Players: Gordon Hayward. Cody Martin Lamelo Ball Dennis Smith Jr. PJ Washington Mark Williams Injured Knicks Players Ryan Arcidiacono Trevor Keels View more predictions on Hornets VS Knicks on BetMGM. View 1XBet predictions for  Hornets VS Knicks. Charlotte Hornets VS New York Knicks: Winner Prediction NBA Picks for Tonight put the New York Knicks as the clear favorite to win tonight’s game and it’s no surprise that the Charlotte Hornets would get the short end of the stick.  The Hornets’ poor home record, has caused experts to have reasonable doubts about their capability to defeat the Knicks which are slightly superior to them. The New York Knicks play better, even if they are inconsistent. Furthermore, Charlotte’s lineup is badly depleted and the squad will suffer without LaMelo Ball, and due to severe injuries to Mark Williams, Dennis Smith Jr. will not be playing tonight. While Rozier and Oubre Jr. are okay replacements for this team, they have bad offensive output, which would have been significantly improved by LaMelo if he were present. This match is really a game of which team sucks less, and because the Knicks who are also bad have a slight edge over the Hornets, NBA Picks favor them. Final Prediction: New York Knicks Spread. Predictions, Odds, and Betting Preview for the Los Angeles Clippers VS Miami Heat December 8, 2022, Regular Season Game Venue: FTX Arena, Miami, Florida Date: December 8, 2022 Time: 7:30 PM E.T. Teams to play – Los Angeles Clippers Vs Miami Heat NBA Picks: Under 213.5 Prediction: Miami Heat Moneyline Betting on the Los Angeles Clippers Season record: 14-11 1XBet Odds: 2.77 BetMGM Spread: +5.5  BetMGM Moneyline: 2.65 BetMGM Over/Under: Over 213.5 The Clippers are currently in 9th position in the Western Conference. Last week they suffered a huge 96-123 loss to Sacramento Kings, and in their last meeting with Denver Nuggets in November, they lost 104-114.  While the Clippers aren’t playing badly, winning 3 of their last 5 games; but, one of their two losses was against an opponent like the Kings, and that fall of 123-96 completely shut them out. LA Clippers Forward, Paul George returned to beat the Charlotte Hornets 119-117, scoring 19 points. While he is still finding his stride, his comeback is good news for the squad because he can strengthen them. One advantage, Los Angeles has in this matchup is that they are effective when playing away from home. This is backed up by their 7-5 road record and winning 50% of their games. They are an unwelcome guest for any team playing at home and might be the same for Miami Heat. Furthermore, winning on away matches is important for the Clippers if they want to move on to the postseason. They are skilled at doing this. Injured Clippers Players Luke Kennard (Calf Injury) Marcus Morris (Illness) Norman Powell (Groin Injury) John Wall (Knee Injury) Betting on the Miami Heat Regular Season Record: 11-14 1XBet odds: 1.53 BetMGM Spread: -5.5 BetMGM Moneyline: 1.50 BetMGM Over/Under: U 213.5 Miami Heat is in 10th position in the Eastern Conference. Last week, they beat Boston Celtics 120-116 in a match that took place in Boston, which isn’t a small feat. Center and power forward, Bam Adebayo scored 28 points in a game, giving the Heat the encouragement they needed to avoid two consecutive losses.  Miami has just returned from a 4-game road trip where they went 2-2. Playing at home for their game against the Clippers should boost their record and help them attain a higher position in the East. Being in Miami will greatly improve their chances of reaching Toronto and Philadelphia.  The Clippers have only lost four times at home so far, so they can gather momentum for a strong run there.  After losing to Portland Trail Blazers at home 110-107, the Heat haven’t suffered a loss. This means they have just lost twice in their last 10 home games against Miami, awarding them a five-game winning streak at Home. Going by this, the Clippers are going to have a very difficult time beating them at FTX Arena. View the full prediction by BetMGM here for tonight’s matchup. Injured Heat Players Dewayne Dedmon (Foot injury) Gabe Vincent (Knee injury) Los Angeles Clippers VS Miami Heat: Expert Prediction A team that causes trouble when playing away and one that plays best at home. Which one will gain the upper hand?  NBA Picks for Tonight places the home team, Miami Heat as the squad to win. Clippers forward, Paul George is still in recovery and so are the Los Angeles Clippers. On the other hand, Miami is going back to familiar surroundings where it’s been known to bring the Heat several times. Experts believe that Miami Heat is tougher than statistics state, especially after their big win against Boston Celtics. Additionally, they are powerful when playing at home and tonight’s game is in FTX Arena, Miami Florida. They are the clear NBA Picks for today’s game. As for the Clippers, they’ll have to power through this game and work harder to advance in the standings in the future. The Ultimate guide to betting on the NBA

Despite the simple outlook of basketball, becoming an expert bettor and beating the bookmakers at the game takes a lot of effort and patience. In this article, we discuss some basic rules of the NBA and explain what to look out for if you want to make money betting on the NBA. Basketball is one of the fastest-paced team sports in the world. Its style of play and high scoring outcomes makes it an exciting sport to watch for both fans and bettors alike. The betting market for the NBA varies, from the most simple to the most complex, although the rules for playing the game is fairly straightforward. Understanding the Rules of the Game Despite the popularity of the NBA, basketball rules are universal whether it is in local leagues like the La Liga ACB, Greek basketball league, or international competitions like the FIBA World Cup. The game involves two teams of 5 players each competing on a 28m x 15m court in the FIBA Championship or 28.7m x 15.2m in the NBA. Each team attempt to outscore the other by making the basket (offence) or blocking the other teams attempt to make the basket (defence). Points are scored by putting the ball through a hoop that is 46 metres in diameter, and 3.05 metres off the ground. Points are in form of goals in soccer and are calculated as 3 points if scored from outside the 3-point line and 2 points if scored inside the 3-point line. Free throws are usually awarded after a rule violation and it is worth one point. Games are usually either split in half or quarters and unlike soccer, no game can end in a draw, Overtime is used to determine the winner. The NBA is split into Eastern and Western conference consisting of 30 teams altogether, with three divisions in each conference. Each team plays 82 games in a regular season, and the top eight teams with the best win-loss record in each conference go to the playoffs with the winner of the NBA playoffs final being crowned the NBA Champion. How to Bet on the NBA Handicap Handicap betting in the NBA is an advanced form of betting as teams are given a point handicap which would either be negative or positive to counter their difference in ability. This simply means the favourite team gets a negative handicap while the least favourite gets a positive handicap. Totals Betting Totals in the NBA is simply betting if the total number of points scored by both sides would be over or under a certain figure set by the bookmaker. Quarter and Half Betting In addition to betting on the full-time outcome of games, bettors can bet on the outcome of a certain half in an NBA game. Money Line, Totals or Handicap can be applied here; the only difference is that the time period is reduced. Outright Markets Unlike betting on individual games which leave room for error and relying too much on luck to determine the final outcome. The Outright market covers a longer period of time, which could be the whole 82 games season. A few examples of outright betting in the NBA include the winner of the NBA Championship, Winner of the MVP, winner of the Eastern and Western conference etc. Important things to consider when betting on the NBA Experienced bettors know that betting is much more than finding an in-form team coming against a struggling side and betting that the in-form team would win. Just like in other sports, there are a few factors to consider when betting in the NBA. Injuries and Squad rotation Due to the intensity at which NBA games are played and the number of games in a regular season, injuries and rotation are inevitable. To succeed as an NBA bettor, one has to keep an eye on team news to know if key players are injured or if they are being rested. If a big player is being rested ahead of a game, the odds of his team winning could change drastically, smart bettors that would bet according to this information would benefit greatly. Team Schedule The number of games played by each team in the NBA means the impact of games played away from home is higher than in other sports. Formerly a team would have to play four games in five nights, but there has been a slight change although teams can still play four road games in a row. If a home team plays another on the end of their four away games, fatigue could see the home team get the upper hand in the encounter, while a home team playing a team at the beginning of their away days could see the outcome change dramatically. Use Statistics to improve your betting Like in other sports, analyzing statistics is a sure way to improve your knowledge of the game you want to bet on and help you make informed decisions.

Coach David Fizdale fired by the Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzles have terminated the contract of David Fizdale after overseeing an 8-game losing streak. The move was announced by General manager, Chris Wallace on Monday, and J B Bickerstaff who has been Associate Head Coach would step up on the interim basis. This move comes just a day after he bench Marc Gasol for the fourth quarter. Gasol was given maximum deal by the Grizzles in 2015 and has been the stand out player for the team this season. He leads the team on rebounds, assists and points, and was an All-Star in Fizdale’s first season with the Grizzles. Gasol was unimpressed by the decision, and spend so much time after the game telling the reporters how disappointed he was to be benched. However, Fizdale claims he just wanted to win a game with the help of his reserves and he understood a decision like that would always upset his senior players. Fizdale was the franchise’s 13th head coach when he was appointed in 2016. In his first season, the Grizzles reached their seven straight post-season, losing to San Antonio Spurs.

Cavs Trying to Find Next Kyrie While Hoping They Can Keep the One They Have

For the Cleveland Cavaliers to trade Kyrie Irving, they will have to be convinced they are getting back a player who can do what Irving has done—fearlessly take and make big shots in the biggest moments on the biggest stage the game has to offer. A quick inventory of the league will tell you there are none on the market who have already proved that, so it would be someone they think has the mentality to do what Irving has done. “What Kyrie does is a perfect fit for us,” says one team source. “That’s why we want to smooth this out if we can.” Short of that, owner Dan Gilbert will want to make sure he comes away looking as if he got equal or greater value in any trade of Irving, who kick-started this process after he met with Gilbert in July to discuss options, including being traded elsewhere. “You can be sure Dan wants to win the press conference with whatever trade he makes,” says one former member of the Cavs organization. “Dan always wants to win the press conference.” Recent events make it more imperative than ever that he does that. Start with the rumbling that LeBron James has contemplated not exercising his player option on the final year of his current contract, which would make him a free agent next summer. While James might be OK with moving Irving, his decision to stay or go obviously could be influenced by who or what the Cavs get in return. Then there’s Gilbert’s decision not to re-sign GM David Griffin, who presided over the Cavs’ three consecutive runs to the Finals. Koby Altman, elevated from assistant GM, took his place despite having no prior experience running a team. Griffin had no prior experience either, but he is assuredly a tough act to follow. His first season at the helm he made several deals that have been credited with elevating the Cavs above the rest of the East, most notably a three-team deal to acquire JR Smith and Iman Shumpert from the Knicks, along with a first-round pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder pick helped Griffin trade for Denver Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov, who played a big part in the Cavs’ first Finals run and was on the championship-winning roster the following year.
