Brighton to replace Potter with Bundesliga manager

Brighton are ramping up their efforts to appoint a new manager for their team after the shocking departure of Graham Potter last week.

The Englishman left them to join Chelsea in London after an impressive spell in charge of the club and they have to find a replacement now.

Adam Lallana is expected to lead their team in their next league game in a player-plus-manager role, but they want an established boss to replace Potter.

The search has begun for his replacement and Matchplug understands Mainz 05’s Bo Svensson has been identified as their ideal target.

He has been at the German for a year and has made them one of the finest teams to watch in the German top flight.

The Seagulls believe he can continue the good work that Potter has started at the Amex if he makes the move to the Premier League.
