Brentford has made an official approach to sign Arsenal target, Aaron Hickey, according to The Daily Mail.
The left-back currently plays for Bologna and he had an outstanding season with the Serie A club. Arsenal struggled to get the best from their summer signing Nuno Tavares and he is now expected to be replaced.
However, they seem to move too slow in their bid to sign Hickey and he could join the Bees instead, according to the report.
It claims Thomas Frank’s side did well in their first season in the Premier League and they are now looking to keep their status next season as well.
The report claims they see Hickey as a player that will bolster their squad further and they are now happy to add him to the group.
With so many clubs looking to sign him, Bologna will be happy because now they can get a huge fee from selling a player they bought for around 2m euros.
